Not to quibble, but Fat's best work was during the 50s on Imperial Records which would be included in this set.. There was an excellent two LP set that is still available as well if you look for it. The sides from that period have been repackaged many many times over the years. LouieB

I am certainly no expert on printing, but you need a "plotter" that will print something in a large size. A good local printer will have one and can probably blow up a photograph without it becoming pixelated if they know what they are doing. You have to blow up the print in the correct type of file (of course that info has escaped my poor tired brain.) Clearly this is done all the time for outdoor advertising so it is a common process, although it might be rather costly. LouieB

When you have The Band backing you even the slightest of material can sound good (even if you misspell the piano players name.) It was relatively well received at the time. I remember buying it and a friend and I listened to it on his turntable. Remember Dylan had not toured in some time at that point and the methodology used in wrting this was much like the Basement Tapes (obviously.) It was also on Asylum, not Columbia, Dylan switched labels. Clearly Forever Young is the stand-out of the bunch. Sadly I did not. I had not even heard of them until that gig, which prompted me to get their CDs, which incidently aren't that easy to find. I got the most recent one through CD baby, but the first two I got through some jazz CD site, they are not sold anywhere else as far as I can tell (I looked for hours on other sites..) Are you in Chicago? If so I can burn you their disks to check out if you like. And they are in fact jazz.....their methodology and sound is completely jazz. I saw Edgar do a long set in Evanston a few years back when he opened for Dr. John. And your point is.... The fact that those bands like Gary Pucket and the Grassroots all use the same rhythm section on the nostalgia tour is quite understandable. Good to know someone went in previous years. Hyde Park is a bit off the beaten track for us Northsiders and so soon after Jazz Fest in Grant Park, this event is slightly redundant, but the lineup seems better than in years past. Fortunately you can some some of these folks in clubs on a regular basis (many at the Velvet or the Hideout or the Green Mill and such). Nice guy (I have talked to him a time or two), just sorry he had a falling out with Bloodshot. Not sure what that was about, but all his Bloodshot albums are very high quality. LouieB
