Ah okay...yea...I see your point. LouieB

This does seem a bit steep, but of course many of Emmylou's peers also get a pretty good amount for tickets. Again, if you like what she does (country music, covering great singer/songwriters, and adult contemporary), this might not be too much. Otherwise give it a pass. LouieB

Are these guys really underrated?? They have been widely covered by singers for years. LouieB

There are lots of great Sea and Cake albums. Check out Shrimp Boat, Sam's first band. LouieB

Yikes.....60.... LouieB

I suppose that is true, but have no first hand experience. Certainly the need to get heroin is a fairly stressful situation. LouieB

Again?? Sheesh. The Kids Are Alright is one of my faves for sure. LouieB

This is one Townes I don't own. (There are alot to own and many have come out after he died...). Many of the Tomato releases are somewhat marred by arrangements that may have sounded like a good idea at the time. LouieB

Too weird....why would anyone with half a brain go for heroin after all the bad examples there have been. REally stupid. LouieB

if Gram were singing with her I would pay three times that much, but sadly he isn't. LouieB

Emmylou is a world class performer who has sung with just about anyone and everyone who was or is alive and matters. She has put out a string of great albums that goes back three decades with songs by a wide variety of top notch songwriters. Her more recent material is written by her or with assistance from the McGarrigles and others and tends to sound a bit like adult contemporary, but some of it is still very good. Although she is getting a touch old, her voice is still very strong (she can't hit quite all the high notes anymore) and if Buddy Miler is in the band it will be a great show.

Jorma was a smart cookie, saving his rock star money and finding a place to settle in his old age. This makes perfect sense, since I am sure Jorma and Chris know each other well from the old days. LouieB

Hit your local record store and buy all the old vinyl, it will be way cheaper. (Loggins and Messina though...you should really think twice about that.....) I saw him with McGuinn, Hillman and Clark way longer ago than I would like to admit. (the return of Uncle Wilco.....) LouieB

Sadly hearts drawn on album covers lowers the value significantly, but hey, I'll buy them. LouieB

Did anyone see him and his band? LouieB

You don't its just it had to be pretty terrible to totally walk out I figure. The only reason I would walk out is if I were totally beat or totally bummed. Either way I just can't see the Decemberist being THAT bad. LouieB

Oh yea, I have that.. Also The United States of America by Laurie Anderson. LouieB

Exactly, although I like Hopper too. LouieB

Ouch...why not at least stay until the end. How boring could it have been? What did you have to do that was better than hangout and listen to a band? The rest of the evening must have been pretty damn exciting. Having said that, these guys do need to find a way to ratchet the act up just a touch. Having seen them twice and not being a big fan or anything, I must admit, the first time was more exciting than the second time. They moved the show along in a much better pace when they were on the way up. Now that they have made it, they have to figure out a way to stay on top. LouieB

Considering everything (Frank being dead), this is a relatively good show (kinda long I hear, but then I wasn't there.), but not as good as Frank himself. LouieB

We are all honored.... LouieB

Can someone give me a clue again as to what makes this worth alot of money? Most copies are allegedly bootlegged. I have one too, but doubt it is worth a thing. LouieB
