If I had to choose, I'd take the DVD....but my daughter sure digs the tee!

Maybe someone who works in the music dept. saw the disc and was like, "What in the woooooorld is a Wilco?" so they put it on to find out.

I've decided that the bonus version cd that came with the LP is for my purse and the regular hard case version is to keep at home. The purse version will fit in the pockets of ladies or fellas that don't carry purses as well. It's SBS Travel Edition. Buying multiple copies of Wilco albums is aways a good idea, I say.

I keep getting this Liam Sullivan comedy tune, (click for youtube vid) stuck in my head. I think the video is hilarious but it can be a bit awkward when I'm shopping in the shoe department and mumbling to myself, "Ohmygod...shoes." Also, after having seen it, I just want to call everyone, "betch" and "deck" all of the time.

Yeah, that "rtt" is where everyone goes to complain about their arthritis acting up when it's rainy outside. I hear it smells like mothballs in there! Welcome to the board...it's the primo spot for all kinds of interesting and entertaining Wilco info.

Most of the time, Jeff was discussing the lyrics and stuff, wasn't he? Since that is his domain, it only seems appropriate that he would be discussing them and maybe I'm wrong but at some point didn't one of the other fellas say something like, "Wilco is basically a vehicle for Jeff's lyrics." I've only watched it once and I was being distracted so I may be off here.

Should we be watching for certain color shirts worn by VC folks or anything in case you made an on camera appearance in an audience shot?

The giant horse poops that usually come with parades can be pretty dangerous stuff. The dvd is absolutely wonderful. I was smiling the whole time and my toddler was rocking out all over the place to Walken (its been her fav song for a while now). I'm so happy with all of it...the LP, cd, dvd, everything looks and sounds beautiful.

I was in Walmart today ( )to see someone so I had to pop over to see if they had it. They do ($14.88) but not the special package.

Ack! Not gonna happen...and it would certainly suck pretty big time if it did. Nels and Glen are freaking awesome and I love Wilco just how it is. Seriously, is Pitchfork trying to lay down some payback for the stiff interview they had with Jeff or something? (I haven't read the review yet...I'm going by what's posted here. I should just go read the thing.)

Just noticed it says "Sky Blue Sky is released by Nonesuch on Monday." I sure hope it's released to me on Monday. The anticipation is killing me....but that's half of the fun, right? P.S. I'm down with ABBA. Dancing Queen is a fine, fine song (just ask my preschooler!) but Casino Queen is pretty great....and I'm not afraid to get caught singing loudly along with Casino Queen at a stoplight.

I'm actually using one of those gift pack glasses and everything. The price was the same, so we went with the cute bonus pack.

"I know where we are supposed to be later tonight." Is this some hint that there will be a special show? And by the way, Garrison is rocking (or trying at least) his "That's Alright" so maybe he would be down for KT?

"Wilco will come back and play some more...." Yipppeeee! I'm so angry that I missed the first part.

I've only heard the web rip (about a thousand times) because I opted out of the later leak, so I'm still psyched to get the real deal in my hands, check out the packaging, hear the vinyl and all of that good stuff. I'm a bit of a merch freak too...I get excited over shirts and stickers and things.

My tracking confirmation thingy says it left the Charlottesville UPS. It's coming via 2nd day air. I think(?) I paid extra for the fastest shipping...as I'm sure most did. Who would want to get it after the release date?! I think we've got a pretty good shot at a Monday arrival!
