Really enjoying season 2 so far. The epileptic (pepileptic) dog and the Simon & Garfunkel episodes were quite funny.

How come so many people are changing their screen name?
GtrPlyr replied to remphish1's topic in Tongue-Tied Lightning
I think many name changers are assuming that people actually pay attention to these details, or maybe they think they're that important that people would automatically know them whatever their name . Personally I find it hard to keep track of who's who. Sure, some people I can spot without a scorecard, but in general I find the name changing just alienates people. -

I really like some of those old Prefab discs I have... Well, to be fair to remphish1, your first post is promoting Prefab, and all your other posts are in this thread. You obviously joined this board to promote the bands new disc, which is fine, but you shouldn't act all uppity when someone calls you on it. Every week we see a poster join the board, start a thread claiming their love of Wilco, then go on to promote some CD... then they're never seen again. Call it cynical, but the MO is exactly the same as all the others. Bottom line, it wasn't the new Wilco record that made you want to joi

I have it but haven't listened to it yet. Thanks for the reminder.

Now, if only Prince had loaded it with all the unreleased songs from his vault, that would have been cool.

You have to love these Bear Family compilations.

^^ Funny coincidence . Your thread inspired me to pull this one out, which is a pretty great disc too:

The new one is great, I'd also recommend his "Problems" record which is like a long lost James Brown record from the early 70s.

We just got a Wii a few weeks back. I'm not a big video game guy, but damn if this isn't fun. We picked up the Summer Resort game last week, hours of great fun there!

Watched this Hammer horror with Stefanie Powers and Joss Ackland--the actor, not the VIA member --the other night:

Harry Nilsson - ...That's the Way It Is Hard disc to find, had to get it shipped from Japan. Nice K2 24-bit sound on it .

For burning MP3s to CD, Nero should do the trick nicely.
