it's up http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=173377 The music is ripped of my masters and i included some art and a tour chart for all you mac users... The compilation starts at the New Port folk fest August 8 2004 only because that was the first show with the new line up of the band i was fortunate enough to attend and tape. North American tour didn't start proper until September 14 in Columbia, Mo. and It ended in Salt Lake City Utah on November 22, 2004 Salt Lake City Utah is the only show not represented in this compilation because a recording had not surfaced b

Vinyl has and always be a collectible. If taken care of original's will always hold their value.

Man you must live a charmed life! you may find AM for a good price. that was one of the easier ones for me in my search. my advise... stay patient and search for typeos like AM or A.M-AM.
-
If you got it for 20 bucks on ebay a year ago it had to be listed with a typo or it was so trashed you can't listen to it. I have had it in my e-bay search feature for the past three years and i have never seen it go for less than $75 and that was a less than stellar copy. Also Kicking Television has never been released on vinyl.

it's even nicer to have and listen to

Good luck with your hunt. It took me 6 years to collect them all. Quality copies of "Summerteeth", "AM" and "All Over the Place" will be your challenge.

page 5 http://www.sendspace.com/file/ep375i for those of you that don't subscribe you really should support this magazine. this interview is just one of many good consistent pieces they offer with each release.

Another thing i love about this intreview is Nels gives a bit of history to the black Jazzmaster guitar he plays. And history that guitar does have!

Reading this for a second time i have to share this from the interview: ND: How does JT work as a bandleader? NC: I think Jeff i interesting because he kind of lays back for a long time before he asserts himself, as far as an opinion. That allows us all to feel like we're participating and making music together first, and then starts streamlining it along the lines he was thinking about. He's much more curious about what we're going to do than what he wants us to do.

sorry i can't provide a link and it's five pages so don't have time to type it out. I just thought i would give a heads up so you could run out and pick up a copy. It's worth the price of the magazine! dave

i realize that... i though this was a hypothetical thread
-
why? last i checked they were both still writing new stuff...
-
I can't believe after reading the four pages of this thread it hasn't been suggested a reunion tour supporting the release of a new Uncle Tupelo recored. Is that too far fetched? If a Tupelo reunion did happen i think these two could come up with 12 or so songs for a new release. That would make it more attractive to me. It would be fun to see what time passed has done to their song writing collaboration as well as their live play.

i don't know where they buy their stuff but if i could guess a style influence i would guess Johnny Cash.

the coolest thing about the fireworks during spiders was the fact that our fireworks display was 10X better than the one the Sprint center gave for the elton John gig. BTW Wilco was the best band playing in K.C. that night. So it was only right that our display was better!

WOW from some of these reviews i can't believe some of you were at the same place i was on Saturday. After that heavy morning rain Saturday it was "Sky Blue Sky" the rest of the day; which i thought was a great omen. Maybe those with a bad experience had to drive in that storm on the way into town. If so i don't blame you for bad reviews. I would have been a little pissy too if i had to drive in that shit. I should know I had to drive all the way back home in it through the Kansas and Oklahoma plains on Sunday. It's really stressful. The only bitch i had with the venue was the fact that it
