I have one, and honestly play Wii sports for about an hour every night. I think the best workout is boxing, especially the first training activity. I love it all, though - especially tennis. I have the Raving Rabbids game, but it never gets played because I'm too busy with Wii sports...

TUMBO! Happy birthday!

Lou has been there, and so have I. It's a nice enough place, but it feels very much like a place where a wedding reception would be held. Probably because people do hold wedding receptions there.

You're welcome to use the picture. Of course I can't speak for Ms. Y, but I love the image of her being the sole audience member for this impromptu outdoor performance.

I am wearing a Cross Colours shirt right now. True story.

It's spelled Glen Kotche. I believe the gentleman above was joking based on your suggestion that they left out the "e."

Zounds! Happy birthdays, you two! -
I loooooove that song. (Yes, seven o's worth.) I would love to hear anyone's version of it. Well, I have actually seen the Handsome Family do it, but it's been too long.

Awesome. Thank you!

I got the album today. So far I've noticed that Glenn's name is misspelled in the "special thanks" section. D'oh!

Someone yelled that in Marfa, which is where it started. Later someone suggested "Jeff Leppard Mellancamp," which Jeff was less happy about.

I love all the album titles.

Happy birthday! -
Oh, how cool! I think we saw that church, too. That's pretty much the impression I got as well, from the people we saw and talked to during the day. That's why Jeff's Texan impressions were especially funny to me during the show - he was clearly barking up the wrong tree in this city! It's impressive that this show had not just one, but two tapers. Kudos to you and Warner! Especially since two tapers in this venue actually amounts to a significant percentage of the crowd.

I would be curious to know if there are things Jeff considers talking about onstage and then doesn't. "Chinese Apple," awesome! And "Dreamer in My Dreams" is a perfect unplugged song.

Stop making up posts, Kris.

I really enjoy the fact that this performance is called "Jon Brion - Tonight!"

"We will be webcasting Jeff Tweedy's performance from the Paramount Theatre in Charlottesville, Virginia on Wednesday, January 31 via Wilcoworld. Stay tuned for details." Very cool.

I have a few pictures from the show, and of Marfa in general: outside Liberty Hall (and Ms Y!) Liberty Hall ceiling There's a flickr set here.

What a great show - especially the multiple songs without the PA. Seeing "Dreamer in my Dreams" belted out from the tip of the stage was so much fun. There was a lot of funny banter, and lots of audience song requests were honored. (Solicted for the the most part in organized fashion as people raised their hands. Definitely possible in a room that size.) I was also very excited to hear "You Were Wrong." Marfa is truly a unique and awesome city. I highly recommend the organic cranberry juice at the Brown Recluse - and say hi to Henry the dog if he's around when you go. I believe Pau

You will have better luck in the After the Show forum.

Don't worry - I'm more excited if he's playing "You Were Wrong" than some random new song I don't know anyway! Thanks for the details, guys.
