I am still master of my domain. It hasn't been easy, though. But I can't wait for the moment I get to hear it all on my headphones on vinyl instead of my crappy PC speakers. That just doesn't cut it for me anymore.

Happy 20th Birthday, Sarah! Have some fun tonight!

Niiiiice! I was just telling Clouds of Fluff "if you hear of this being recorded, let me know" ... and I pop in here, and HERE IT IS!!! Apparently he played it at Largo as well, as an encore. Oh, the world is good today. Thanks so much for posting this.

Oh, okay -- I get it now. @ self Sorry, we've just had a lot of weirdness going on at VC this week. I figured it was just more full-moon craziness. But even on a good day, I really do suck at recognizing pop culture references -- and I have even SEEN this episode, although only one time, and back when it originally aired. So today it's just a faint shadow in the bleak landscape of my memory bank.

Apparently someone posted and deleted. I wonder who? Anyway, to the original poster of this thread: here's some goodies for you http://forums.viachicago.org/index.php?showtopic=24578

works now -- what a doll!

Just FYI - your picture in this thread is protected and causes some sort of a pop-up asking for a password to idisc.mac.com (well, for me anyway). But anyway -- happy birthday, Wilco!

I agree completely. Thank you A-man for pointing people in the direction of the answers to their questions. VC is a big place. It is an excellent resource for Wilco/Tweedy fans, and many people don't know where to find things. Especially think of the quantity of new fans that are going to be finding VC once Sky Blue Sky is released in 2 weeks. Do you think they want to re-invent the wheel on some of these questions? I thought sharing information was what made for a great community. Plus, when A-man (or anyone else) drops a link to help point the original poster to past information -- th

Have a FANTASTIC day Lou!

Well, I for one have learned a lot about IP addresses with this snafu. First and most importantly - To Ben/caliber66/Ninjas E. Liverwurst I extend my sincerest apologies for erroneously pointing at you as hiding behind a pseudonym. Plus, I really should have known you would be incapable of using poor grammar and spelling even as an attempt to further disguise. But it never dawned on me that there could be more than one person per IP address. Soooo, hope you can forgive me for starting this whole mess by thinking it was you. To nepatriots/david - With the benefit of hindsight,

And these are all free shows? Nice work, Detroit!

Thanks for the head's up Paul. I will gladly hit the Indy and Cinci shows with a guaranteed ticket in hand. But here's to a fun college show for the college kids! I think it's great that they do these kinds of shows.

Bridget - True confessions, I have only listened once to that new AB. Man I gotta get busy with it!

Oops! My bad. Sorry about that. But Hank/Joss/Richard, you're right -- I can't keep up with the name changes around here and I apologize for "assuming" you, Richard, were the other Richard. I've probably been confused all along. Well, sadly it's a common thing for me these days! At any rate, back to CALIFONE! Tell me/us more about this Califone encounter! If you two collaborated on this article, did the interview occur prior to a show? And if so, what was your opinion of Califone live? And why am I left with a bit of uncertainty as to what's next for the band? I w

Great interview with Tim Rutili by VC'ers M_Thomp and Welsh Rich. It's a very enlightening article, guys. twistedear.com

I believe you can have a meaningful friendship with someone of the opposite sex without emotionally betraying your spouse. However, it sounds more to me that you are having a love affair with music and that you enjoy discussing it with other people, especially this person (who happens to be female) at work, where you spend a lot of time. So welcome to VC -- you're in the right place. I say ask your wife to go to the show. If she says no, then either ask your old fired friend (on the up-and-up with your wife's knowledge and support), or ask another person to go. Or come by yourself a

I'm not buying any more tickets, but there seems to be something wrong with buying ANY tickets through the Aronoff. Like, for instance, I just "tried" to buy tickets to Lion King but nothing goes through. Error messages. "DTWP001E: Net.Data is unable to locate the macro file err_bad_user_init.d2w." So good luck you guys!

We didn't know you didn't know! But Wilcoworld posted the presale info really really late. I don't know why. I'm sending you a PM just in case, so you are sure to read MChris' post.
