So I had this thought. So Mother destroys the camp and buries the well which holds the frozen donkey wheel. The frozen donkey wheel is eventually set up (cause we see Ben and Locke both turn the wheel.) Who set it up? MIB? Jacob? If MIB set up why, was he not able to use it to leave the island ala Ben and Locke? Why is Jacob allowed to come and go as he pleased. Did he use the lighthouse? At what point did Jacob decide to leave the island to push our canidates to the destiny they are now. There could be an entire season of island history with Jacob, MIB and these questions.

Those people were Jacob and MIB's true mother's people who were shipwrecked on the island. I don't they were symbolic of an early civilization since this was 23 AD, civilization was pretty well established. They were a group of people a kin to the Dharma Initiative. In fact they went to great lengths to to set up the fact that they were an early version of the DI (smart men doing experiments, etc.) As for their destruction, I would guess the Mother (Alison Janney) is also the smoke monster (it is the only thing on island that could have caused that sort of destruction). I actually liked this episode. It was far from perfect, and I did expect more. This article from io9 sums it for me. Last Nights Lost was Cheesy - and that's a good thing.

I am gonna throw this out about the skeletons: The Skeletons are the Man in Black and an unknown, or yet to be seen, woman. I have a feeling the form we have seen MiB (Titus Welliver) is not actually the true MiB. He has just taken that body, just like he has taken John Locke. The actual MiB is some sort of demon or monster or whatnot that has taken the form of Titus Welliver and other dead people.

I love Jay's music, and I agree with Charlie his voice is best in small doses. My hope for this record is that Jay had reigned himself in a bit and not tried to throw everything and the kitchen sink in his recording has he has done in the past. Is that Ed Burch I hear on "Twice a Year"

isn't that sad really? It all comes down to money. I absolutely love Sun Kil Moon, and I am surprised no one has brought up Tiny Cities, their album of Modest Mouse covers. It just might be my favorite album, by any artist. Though I do have to say I was a little meh on April. It seemed to drag in spots. With that being said I am super pysched about a new Sun Kil Moon record.

Just had a thought. Is Desmond in the altverse trying to get everyone back with their Constant, not necessarily their true love. Maybe Locke's constant is Jack, and by hitting him with his car he will get him to reconnect with Jack. Though Jack and Locke did meet earlier.

I am not sure how much the Widmore's knew about the Island universe in the alt time line. I am going on the theory that anything that happened in the island verse did not happen in the Alt-verse. Eloise is a different case though she seems special, I think I heard the producers call her a time cop or sometime. Which makes me think of this:

after watching last nights episode I think we can safely break the Island Universe and Alt Universe down in a simple way. The Island Universe each of the Character's have experienced true love. Desmond - Penny Sawyer - Juliet Jack - Kate Daniel - Charlotte Hurley - Libby Charlie - Claire Jin - Sun Ben - Alex (who said love has to be a sexual love)? The only one who has not found true love is Locke who is now MIB. Though is his true love the Island? And in the Alt-Universe none of the characters seem to have any true love. One could argue about Jin and Sun, though are we sure it is not

I actually thought that for awhile, but I think not. The Alt reality is a true alt reality, I am guessing an alt from the beginning of time. This is why: Juliet detonates the bomb thus negating the pocket of energy and thus 815 never crashes. If 815 never crashes Locke cannot turn the donkey wheel to send the island skipping in time. Juliet, Sawyer, Miles, Jin never end back up in 1977 (nor does the Oceanic 6 because they never came to island in the first place). So Juliet never can detonate the bomb.
