Meet in the middle how exactly? ACA is a law, it has been upheld by the supreme court, repeal has not worked the 40 times the house voted for it. The country voted for the act's author in a near landslide. It is done it is over. There is no middle ground here. In what way? The shut down is solely the result of the GOP's actions. The Democrats are completely blameless in this shut down. So I don't see how they could have wanted something they really had no control over.

Saw John Boehner on the TV making a speech on the House floor in which he said the President is refusing to meet him half way or negotiate on the shutdown/debit ceiling. But really what is their to negotiate? From what I can tell the sticking point is the defunding of ACA. Which is a law, passed and signed, and challenged and upheld in the Supreme Court. It has also tried to be overturned by House 40 times. These efforts have been unsuccessful. Also PBO one in a landslide against a man whose stated goal if he one the election is to overturn ACA on his first day in office. Why should

I used panic in reference to what Atticus said. In all reality the gov shutdown won't affect me. But it is concerning. It shows the failure of our government. It shows how a small group of far right members of congress are holding the US hostage because they don't like a law. It is sad really.

With less than half a day to go, I think now it is time to panic. Already the stock market has taken a slight tumble with the shutdown almost guaranteed to happen. I love the notion that the talking heads on the Right are laying this on the feet of PBO and the Democratic control Senate. Seriously does anyone believe it is the Dems who are responsible for the shutdown?

It was and I think you can safely do away with what was a spoiler, since it aired and all. If you haven't seen the show and reading this you are should expect talk about the show in detail. You made the wise choice, I wish I never saw the finale of Dexter. Breaking Bad, while not the best episode, had everything you would want. Storylines wrapped up, call back to earlier episodes, Walt's plan actually working (getting the money to his family), great resolution to Jesse (although I wish he got the rest of the money some how).

It was the media that made a big deal about her shoes, not her. She did not read green eggs and ham, she needed to stay on topic. I don't know that much about her (not living and Texas and all) but I think I heard she is considering a run for governor. I don't know what considers a lightweight. She did serve on Fort Worth City council form 199-2007 and then the state senate since 2008.

Kinda wished you had showcased the article cause I don't remember it. But as for hating country music, what is the context? Is it the current mainstream pop country? Is it old bluegrass? Country music is such a vague term it is essentially meaningless.
