While I agree that the Jim and Pam stuff isn't all that interesting, the show is still very funny. Michael, Dwight and Andy were the highlights last night. That said, I think 30 Rock is the best show on television right now.

Agreed... they are very well known in Chicago. They sell out three consecutive nights at the Auditorium Theatre, are in the Tribune/press regularly. I'd have to say that most people between 20-40 have at least heard of them.

Yea, listened to a few samples of this yesterday after reading about them in the best of 2008 thread. Really good stuff. I'll have to pick this up.

I liked "End of Love" quite a bit. Disliked Eef's first solo album quite a bit and really liked his 2nd. Glad to see these guys getting back together though.

I have seen DBT a couple of times in the last year and they have been stellar. This last time, opening for THS, they were blown off the stage. Doesn't make them a bad show live, THS were just unreal. I wish that Patterson would send most of his spoken word songs*, and all of Shonna's songs, right back to the album that they are on. I don't want to see them live. That said, they still kick much ass live. I miss Jason as well but love having him solo. * Let There Be Rock may be an exception. Plus, I like some of the others but not live for some reason.

I believe Laverne found her attractive as well. In other news, watched the Grinch last night. It holds up.
