Nice little triple play Cortez. NP: Langhorne Slim: Live at Austin City Limits Festival 2008 my fandom grows

I like the Sony EX series for my iPod. Reasonably priced in the $30 range without that tinny sound. More importantly, they fit comfortably in my ear. I can't get the iPod ones to stay in my ear. Can anyone recommend an iPhone compatible earbud with the microphone/phone option? There are some very nice ones in the $100 range but I really don't use it that much and couldn't justify spending that kind of money.

Paste liked it... it's in their top 20 for 2008.

My neighbor has worked on Tweedy and Stirrat's houses. True story.

Hey... nice work to you both!

I won't say which albums are better but I listen to other albums by them much more than Murmur. Once could argue that they are in the same range - Life's Rich Pageant, Reckoning, Document, New Adventures I also wanted to use this opportunity to say again that I really like Accelerate.

"Jeff Tweedy" reviews U2's Achtung Baby
myboyblue replied to winter party person's topic in Someone Else's Song
Achtung Baby and Unforgettable Fire are about the only U2 albums that I can sit through. There early stuff doesn't hold up for me and Joshua Tree was just too overplayed. -
Giving a first spin now. I like it. Much more spare than anything that I have heard by him...definitely the best I have heard his voice sound.

Apologies for hijacking the thread... Downers Grove, IMO, is a better bet. I'd prefer to live there vs Naperville. Naperville is sprawling and full of chain stores/restaurants. It's a nice city but overrated as far as I'm concerned.
-
Naperville is much publicized but many of the surrounding areas blow it away. It's on many best of lists solely because of it's size >100k people. My town is maybe a 1/5 of the size and is closer to the city, train, etc. and you don't hear shit about it. I'm ok with that.

I saw Ian Maclagan last year in a small club and he was unreal. I would love to see this. Unfortunately, I don't see them doing small theatres...
