YES it was and I can't help thinking that the most amaizing thing to me about this band is how seldom i would ever skip any song on a recoding - live, bootlegs, studio - it is unmatched in my experience with any other group. Live I know I will only be upset when its over -whatever they choose to play. No mattter how many songs, it was never enough.

I recommend a book that affected me greatly re SCIENCE and TRUTH, though I am in much agreement with you, and actually spent a lot of time on the topic in years past. i now (ironically) am doing "scientific" research !! really, it's a must read: The Mismeasure of Man by Stephen Jay Gould There are some tech parts a little tough but mainly, he is a scientist who discusses the conduct of science, and the quest for "truth" in unusual ways. It' tauted as having the "definitive refutation to the argument of 'The Bell Curve' Please let me know if you get a chance to read it - L

I know this is supposed to be about our little known local bands, but re meeting Lou - have to say, Rick and I found this dude who knows music really well, loves our favorite band, and turned out (just a bonus) he was one extremely nice, classy guy. It was a highlight of our res experience to meet the man .... I know - this thread was not about you ----- can't help myself ---- L & R

  14. Hi to all the VC folks we saw at the show. Paul wrote a great review and description I think. We enjoyed this so much but the best was hanging with great friends.
