  1. This was an amazing show with really great vibes all around-great to see so many now frinedly sweet VC faces! We had such a great times seeing Mike, Andy, Courtney, Bill, Muadie and her friend - my funniest of many hilarious moments was when JT fixed his hair special, I think trying to get it to have that unique Pat S look, really hip. The Glenn photo is super!!! I asked for Wishful Thinking and was somehow still surprised when they played it - thought of Tamalay and VW (he played it for me in the Starbucks across from the Riv.) Lots of fun memories - Here is Rick at an actual place we saw in
  2. Love that thouhgt !
  3. I actually had this eact thought. this is afv of ours and I remeber he made that comment. I love his poetry so much and poetry is sooften a joint venture between the author and the reader. The extreme artist presents an inviting canvas or jump off point, at least that's what I think....There is this uncanny way Jeff has of setting a tone or lkeading you in to think about things in a certain way. but the specifics, they come at least half I would say, from our own experiences and framework. It also adds to this experience that is so unique when you go to a show, and we all sing together. It 's
  4. Very pleased to hear this! I had checked in a couple of times at one of the websites - but not this week. I am MOST excited. We have been very big fans of TW for many years, never saw him live. I agree a small venue would be MOST excellant. Thanks for the heads up. Chocolate jesus......that's all I can say. I have the Bukowski quote on a fridge magnet Kevin.......

  8. Years ago, one of our firends used to bring NO NAME beer to the 4th cookouts, and we would all give him a bunch o hard times about it until all the rest of the beer was gone, and then we drank it.

  12. Hey so happy you got that second opinion - I work in health care and it worries me how it goes these days - quick diagnosis with little work up and off you go. Please get well soon and trust your instincts!!!!! My daughter had amjor renal infection over Thanksgiving holidays and initial eval was - no big deal, here's some pills for UTI - thank god we took her in to Children's Hospital in Boston when she kept looking so ill - take care-----

  14. I wondered if she/they would be a good live - from what I saw when she was on a couple of shows. (did I see her on SNL?) Looked like some decent musicians.
  15. Rick showed me these guys a couple of years ago, I had never seen them - squish your head is something amusing but so much more. Actually, I use it frquently and it has added another dimension to my work life.

  19. We are officially obsessed. We wanted to do St louis all three but I have work obligations can't change end of that week. Then when they added a night and we saw all you guys were going, we could not resist a res reunion. So we will be flying in Friday night and going DIRECTLY to the show. Do they have an opening band? Can't wait to see you all!!!!!!
