As a far too frequent watcher of Degrassi than someone of my age should, I noticed that the next two episodes are entitled "Jesus Etc." No word yet on if the song is being used in the episodes or not, but I would guess yes. So I will keep my ears peeled.

This might just be the most enlightening thread I have ever read on VC. So way to go.

Anyone else think this is crazy? I just checked the Iowa city show and there were still tickets in the first 15 rows available. I am really surprised these haven't sold out already. Maybe the presales were not heavily advertised. I suppose it is good and bad. Good for people wanting tickets.

THE ENGLERT THEATRE (Iowa City) $35 on sale Friday February 4, at NOON, CST. No word on presale yet.

these are from the wilcoworld website. So pretty official if you ask me.

I am super excited, 3 solo shows in one year? Yes please. Any idea about ticket prices, on sale days, etc.?

Not sure but I really like MuteMath (myspace page) (wikipedia). They might not be entirely appropriate for church, not because of any of their lyrics for something like that, just a little more psychedelic-gospel then traditional gospel. Their songs (especially the first album) are religious, but if you didn't know that you wouldn't notice.

Jeff Tweedy, Boulder Theater, Boulder CO, 1/7/2011
Griddles replied to chango's topic in After The Show
Don't know about the rest of the people that were there, but I was pretty pissed. Jeff was great, don't get me wrong I really like the song choices, but the people that were there. Perhaps it was just those around me, but god lord they almost ruined the show for me. The guy who wanted his Adult Head signed was kind of sitting in front of me. By kind of I mean he and this other guy who was passed out for the time he was sitting there were constantly switching places. Or else no one was sitting there. I was in section A so these were not the seats that were easy to get. Also the loud guy who wa -
Tis the season for money laundering

For the past two years my family has played gift card bingo. My parents cash in their credit card points for hundred of dollars worth of gift card. Then after opening presents on Christmas morning, we play bingo and who ever get bingo gets to choose what gift card they want. I ended up getting enough to get my gf's presents for free. The bingo gets kind of old by the 10 game. But it is a good way to give out the gift cards to the people who would use them rather than making assumptions about that. -
Perhaps I am the only one, but whose signature is that?

That was fast! Those are also very very expensive.

skiing. Easily my favorite thing to do. I would do it in the summer if there was snow. And wassail of course.
-
I guess it just took some time for them to process the sign up. I got on, 4th row Friday! And 14 Saturday! Merry Christmas, Happy Birthday, Happy Kwanzaa, Happy Hanukkah to myself I guess. See you guys there.

I signed up, but when I try and log in to the site it cannot find my email. Perhaps the radios stations site is just over loaded? any help would be much appreciated. Thanks for the link, by the by.

Thanks for clearing that up. Good thing as I will be skiing when the tickets go on sale and am making the lad friend to get the tickets.

Perhaps I am out of the loop, which is entirely possible, but how does one get the pre-sale password in advance? In the past, I seem to remember, that I would just log on to frontgate at the appointed pre-sale time and buy tickets. Am I remembering incorrectly? Please set me straight, or at the very least pm me the password. The stub hub tickets are likely those evil ticket brokers. They promise to get the tickets and then resell them to you for more money. They offer them in advance of the tickets being offered to the public so that concerned concert or event goers buy from them in advance

Boo-ya! defiantly trying to get tickets for both days.

World Cup 2018 to Russia and 2022 to Qatar. I figured Russia would get it over England (no offense but their bid had so many internal problems and an kind of arrogance), and over the others because of them being joint bids; something Fifa does not like. I figured Australia would get 2022 over the US and did not really consider Qatar to be a serious bid. They have the money now to build the stadiums and finance all the air conditioning they want, but 11 years is a long time (in economic terms). I don't doubt they will be able to pull it off, but I would hope that by then we as a planet would

Who is from or has been to New Zealand?
Griddles replied to remphish1's topic in Tongue-Tied Lightning
I spent about 6 months in New Zealand studying in Christchurch. As Such I spent most of my time on the South Island. I did spend about a week in Rotorua with the study abroad program. We also went to the Agrodome and everyone there seemed to have a really good time (I was not as fascinated because I grew up around farming sheep, but the sheep dogs are still really cool). I would say that if you are up to it to go Zorbing is is really fun. Queenstown might be the most fun city on the planet. There are all sorts of adventure things to do from sky diving, to white water rafting, to jet boating, t -
Not the Brian Wilson I was expecting, at all. Although I was confused by why kids would go as a beach boy who they probably do not even know exists.

Kind of late, but anyway... My lady friend has this ninja costume. She has had it for like 5 years so for 5 years she has gone as a ninja. I think it is great, but other not so much. I think this year i convinced her to go as one half of insane clown posse. I am not a big fan a 'couple costumes' but i think this might be the furthest from one there is. What are other going/already went as?

hey ashtray, I am not sure what Av secuity suite is, but I hope you got rid of it if it is bad. I would suggest also getting glary utilities to help clean up and stay cleaned up. I love it. It is not really security software but does scan your computer and gets rid of all the left over junk on it. Anyway, I am at my parents and every time I click on a link from my speed dial, ( I use opera) it goes to a searchassist.teoma page. Even if I type in something into the address bar it still goes there. Any ideas about how to get rid of this? Maybe it will go away once I am off my parents network

Picked up some Woodford Reserve last night. Dam tasty stuff that is. It is hard to choose one at the liquor store that I like the best. Just got to try them all I guess. As an old New Zealand brewer told me the prize goes to the person who tries the most kinds of alcohol.
