  1. I would expect Scotland to have another vote on leaving the UK, so that they can join the EU. jinx buy me a coke
  2. I'm giving up. I'm 0-10 at least - I keep getting one of two error messages, one of which is telling me my voucher code isn't applicable for the event I chose, even though I chose an event on their own link. I'll wait until the next round of shows goes up.
  3. New documentary review on Zappa: http://www.avclub.com/review/eat-question-explores-frank-zappa-all-his-cranky-c-238488 The comments section of that article led me to this nice essay: http://www.furious.com/perfect/zappainstrumentals.html
  4. I've tried to "buy" four different shows already. Each time has ended up with an error message. I give up for now. Will try again tonight.
  5. Ha - so I'm going knuckle deep in my new ticket middle man business, and am looking for concerts to buy and sell. There's a Brantley Gilbert (never heard of him - assumed he was country) show at the Shoreline Amphitheater in CA. Perfect, I thought. I went to click on the GA lawn tickets, and they're only available in packets of 4. Keep in mind that this is a show listed on the "official vouchers" list, and that the voucher is only good for 2 tickets, and only one voucher can be used per show. Cheers, Ticketmaster. You're the ultimate Troll.
  6. So, has this thesis been put to the test yet? I'm guessing that the tickets obtained with the vouchers will have an embedded code that will prevent them from being put up for re-sale. Also, the list of crappy shows that the vouchers apply to is rapidly shrinking. It was 450 a couple mornings ago, now is down to 263.
  7. It's a Ponzi scheme. Shh. Don't ruin my efforts to SELL RASCALL FLATTS TIX ON THE CHEAP!!!!
  8. I feel the pull, but the splendorous days of road tripping for a show are all but gone for me. Looks like I'm going into the ticket resale business that remphish1's free seminar explained above. He must have received his degree from Trump University.
  9. The only Live Nation venues place in the Chicago area that are honoring the "free tickets" are Alpine Valley (The Zac Brown band in June is the only show that's honoring the free passes - sales must be slow) and the Tinley Park Amphitheater. Dang it. The only show I'm interested at Tinley Park is the Black Sabbath show on Sunday Sept 4. I'll be out of town. Note that the ticket vouchers say they're good through June 18, 2020, but in the Settlement Agreement, Ticketmaster only agreed to provide free ticket vouchers for select Live Nation concerts through May 2017. http://concerts.livena
  10. Right... It was all Pax Romana before the Tea Party existed. Interesting insight from former GOP Gov. of MN Arne Carlson
  11. Christians: Anti Gay. Muslims: Anti Gay. Christians: Good Muslims: Bad
  12. On a simple graph, I would score the 5 shows in the box as 4,3,4,5,5.
  13. Having the opinion that being a conscientious objector is a black mark on one's soul is one thing. To publicly say so on the day Ali died is a fucking disgrace. To refer to Ali as Cassius Clay is disrespectful as hell and something Good Ol Boys used to do as a power play back in the day, a tradition I'm sure this politician is aware of. Shit flows downhill, not up. This fucknuts should respect his betters. And wouldn't you know it, TN State Rep Martin Daniels has as much military experience as Ali. None.
  14. Yay Republicans. https://mobile.twitter.com/RepMartinDaniel/status/739194801308979200?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw Fucking asshole.
  15. You forgot that part. And, really? What other presidential candidate has done that?
  16. Ugh. Not a good scene to contemplate as I'm dealing with a toothache...
  17. There's a Rolling Stones museum exhibit going on currently: http://www.saatchigallery.com/current/rolling_stones.php I enjoyed several walking tours offered by this company: http://www.walks.com/ This guy gives great Beatles walking tours: http://londonrockwalks.com/Richard.htm
  18. Yeah, and the codeine to fix it
  19. You should use Yelp to find bordellos that don't have ticks.
  20. Also, that vaccine quote source is from September 2015. Trump's opinions have a sell-by expiry term shorter than yogurt.
