12 shows and you forgot that people stand? Bummer that you can't stand for long periods of time, but if people want to stand, they'll stand. My first Wilco show was at a seated venue and after a few songs Jeff commented on how it reminded him of a Catholic church with all the sitting, then standing, the sitting... etc.

Glenn is drumming on an album of duets featuring Sam Beam (Iron & Wine) and Jesca Hoop. It was recorded in Portland earlier this year and produced by Tucker Martine. Although I doubt either will happen, I'd love to see either (a) Glenn play drums on the supporting tour for that album or ( Wilco play a show in Philadelphia.

I'd kill for a proper (non-festival) Philly-area show at this point. It's been quite a while.

This depends on the venue. I caught up with Jeff after a show in Wilmington, DE back in 2008. Small theater, bus was parked right out back. I didn't ask him to sign anything, but did get a picture. A lot of venues have private areas where the bus pulls right up to the venue, which makes pictures/meetings much harder, if not impossible.

Me! Just saw them in Louisville... seeing them later in August in Philly and outside of Baltimore. I think those 2 will be my 26th and 27th time seeing MMJ in some form or variation.

I live in Philly and I won't be doing the festival... ridiculous prices, crappy lineup, no option yet for a one day pass, plus an awesome free festival in Baltimore that weekend. Haven't seen PJ since June 2008

I wasn't aware of those specifics, as I'm not a taper. I have always heard PJ was "taper friendly" but I guess there's some wiggle room in that category.

Just realized that I attended 2 shows in the past 8 days and heard not a single song off WTA.

Dr Dog is not well suited to play a place that big. They put on one hell of an energetic show. I've been lucky enough to see them with 100 people in a tiny bar, and a handful of times at the Electric Factory. I wish they could have played longer. I didn't see any of the Avett set. Not that I dislike them, but I was there for Wilco and Dr Dog. A couple who left after Avetts gave me and my pal their pit tickets, so I was in the 5th row for Wilco. I just saw them last weekend at Forecastle, and they did the same thing there with rushing through the setlist and playing as much music as possibl

Why Jim? Because Jim is awesome. Regardless of your personal taste, it can't be denied that Jim James is respected within the musical community. Collaborations with M Ward, Conor Oberst, Preservation Hall Jazz Band multiple times and tours, Ben Sollee, Daniel Martin Moore, Dr Dog, handpicked to open for Pearl Jam, the Roots.

Quality isn't great... 128k I think. I've already ordered the vinyl, so I'm eagerly awaiting that first quality listening session with the 'phones, but this will do for the commute.
