I cannot believe all the people against White on this. They streamed his entire new CD without pernmission on a MAJOR market commercial radio station. They aren't some small college station or something. A massive screw up by Q101. How can you guys not see his issue there??

I would rather hear some real music with mistakes and all then some polished note for note show. And to think Stewart toured with Trey Anastasio and he is this much of a perfectionist.

See, that was the problem. By '97, they seemed to be this ginormous stadium band that lost its roots and any sence of dynamics. Around '88-92, they were playing small places and just blowing the doors off.

We'll see at Bonneroo I guess, but something tells me that Stewert hasn't run that plan by Sting yet.

I have seen them live several times and have many of those shows on boot. The Pumpkins live NEVER translates to tape/CD for whatever reason. But walking out of those shows I would have sworn I'd just seen the best live band on the planet!

After the recent poor Willie Nelson version of it, I think we need to put a ban on anyone else covering this particular song. I went to see Shawn Colvin in concert and Brandie Carlisle opened for her and SHE covered it. I almost had to walk out.

If you like it, go grab their older stuff starting with "Bug". That's my fav.
