I wish they would cut that awkward 3 seconds of Mike Mills at the end of Man-Sized Wreath.
-
So this album finally leaked and, after the first listen, I have to say it's pretty good. Man-Sized Wreath and Living Well are stellar and are early standouts for me.
-
I mean no disrespect, but I just don't get the love for Just A Kid. Maybe it's me.
-
This is exactly what I think. In that order as well.
-
I like the quiet, banjo melody. But nothing really else sticks out from this song. It's just there.
-
I'm dying (or at least I feel like I am). The flu kicked in with full force last night. I knew that this was going to happen.
-
Pure and simple etiquette.
-
Sure, but I've always considered the same song. It's like them playing the Kamera on the demos over the YHF version. I'll still love to hear it.
-
February 18, 2008 Guy in the crowd: "We love Loose Fur!" Jeff Tweedy: "Well, Loose Fur ain't here." I'd still be interested to see if they play any Loose Fur.
-
Fuck it, I'm going.
-
I'm still on the fence!!!!!!!!!!!!

After 3 shows, I'm so spent that I'm really debating selling my ticket, staying home, and listening on the radio and saving my energy for tomorrow. I don't think that I have it in me to stand outside in the cold and then stand for another 4 1/2 hours inside. Oh what to do?

I have, and it probably does. But I don't hold it against people if they want to get up and dance every now and then. -

So the next time Wilco plays at the Auditorium Theatre we all have to sit? That sucks. -

So who was that that tried to bum rush the stage during HMD?
-
That's the first thing that I thought of -- a real encore. I had a really good vantage point of side of the stage from the side and above, and could clearly see the band's tour manager and sound technician motioning as if they weren't sure if they should try to get the band back on stage. Everyone had cleared out from the side of the stage. It was definitely one of those "real encore" moments.
-
I did go to both, I preferred the first night, and I'm not sure why that makes me crazy. I thought that there was more energy, more anticipation, and more surprises. You preferred the second night. Does that make you crazy? Sheesh.
-
Both of these shows were really good. I would give the edge to last night's show though.

I think that I'm the only one that thought that What's The World Got In Store was one of the standouts. God, I love that song, and it sounded awesome (even with the false start).
-
So, basically, the band should only to play to about 200 people? Because the majority of fans that go to Wilco shows are not "diehard Wilco fans" that post on these boards. Like others have said, it's a rock show. It happens. And it's been happening at Wilco show for a long, long time.

Pat = MVP of last night.
