Funny, I spent about 2 hours learning and playing along with Scartlet Begonias today. Our band is thinking of doing that one into Fire on the mountain since we already do Fire. Always a challenge to learn a GD song because everyone in the band picks a different version to learn for some reason.

Well, as far as Marc Ford goes I wouldn't start with this new one. Has some good stuff on it but is basically a mellow acoustic album. I much prefer his electric stuff. Would highly recommend his album Fuzz Machine. Not real impressed with either Marc or Rich vocally though.

Just got the new Marc Ford, "Holy Ghost". Saw MOJO gave it 4 stars so looking forward to hearing it.

Well according to Wiki it's "Pen" and of course that is the definitive word. But Really, Pen just makes sense, Pin does not. That Snider piece is amazing. Love the part about Dylan and Richards going "way out of their way to make sure everybody knows how little they care. Jagger just doesn't."

Just bought a faucet. It was not one of these. I don't trust that new touch technology. I just know at some point it will start flowing and not stop.

I have used this since the 80's (Well the TU-2) version. Built like a tank. It can be tough outside but you can set it for a "Sweep" type indication that comes through pretty well outside. And I agree on the Snarks, they work way better than I thought they would.

That's pretty cool. St. Stephen would have been amazing. I think it's interesting he lives in the same house as Sean Lennon.

Yeah, kind of bummed about the Denver line up when I saw Chicago. Looks like 2x as many bands in Chicago. Hopefully they will add some in Denver. But I will probably go again this year. Some bands I have not seen on there like Descendents, Buzzcocks, The National, Wu Tang, Bob Mould.

I would agree. To me Animals is one of the few perfect albums that exist. Would not change a thing about it. Might be my favorite album ever.
