  3. Real Estate with the Shilohs in Boulder
  4. They need to either hang it up or do the Rick Rubin thing where he comes in and reminds them what the hell made them good to begin with.
  5. I know I'm a bit behind but I just busted through season 3 of Walking Dead. I just love that we live in an age where we can marathon watch these shows non stop. Can't wait until season 4 is on Netflix.
  6. I wish there were more videos like this:
  7. Damn missed the Hendrix guitar. But no Tweedy on the show.
  8. Apparently there are some ruins and whatnot. Seriously though that is really cool. I would totally read up on my Greek history. Always wanted to make that trip.
  9. That is a great point. The drums on Something and Come Together, not to mention The End, just so great with headphones. I dont hear better drum sounds on modern records.
  10. Our band just started doing Friend of the Devil live. People go nuts for it. Who knew?
  11. Liking this. Very Cooley-centric.
  12. Just picked up the album and got a wristband that gets me in to see them at twist and shout record store in Denver on record store day. Also gets me in line to get something signed. Thinking I will get a vinyl Dirty South for them to sign. At 45 I always feel a little douchey getting stuff signed but oh well. Want that one on vinyl anyways.
  13. We only seem to have jam bands, bluegrass, and bad AOR here in Colorado.
  14. Wait, did you mean there is a Myriad band whose music you enjoy? Note, kind of ironic. The Myriad was a Seattle-based band. They were selected as 2007's MTV2 Dew Circuit Breakout champions. Their newest album, With Arrows, With Poise, was released on May 13, 2008.[1] After touring for four years, the band went on hiatus in late 2008 after finding out their drummer Randy Miller had been diagnosed with cancer. In August 2009 the band announced they were heading out on the "All Creatures Tour".
  15. I'm already 7 episodes deep. Better than the first season at this point.
  16. Me too. Could have got them free anyway I'm sure but there is something nice about guilt free legit music. Thanks for the link.
  17. The new one has really grown on me. J. Smoov sounded really, really good live.
  18. Yeah I knew I was likely to hear something based on the Neil young, zep, Sabbath stuff. To be fair, the set list for Denver will say he did Come sail away but it was really his band playing the chorus for 20 seconds while he left the stage. He did do a passable Swingtown though.
  19. Malkmus actually pulled out a few Pavement tunes last night. Father to a Sister of a thought and Box Elder. Pretty cool.
