Know anything about this one? I bought it as an import a long, long time ago and heard it was worth some money. The more vinyl the better, I don't care who is selling it. I just got back into vinyl recently after about 20 years of not bothering to fix my player so now I'm into it.

Glad the link is still up as I forgot to get this after the error got fixed. Now I have to wait until I get home to download but I will give it a listen.

I always hate going up in tuning as well. For those type of tunings I like to tune the other strings down and throw a capo on. For example to play in open A I tune to Open G and put a capo on the 2nd fret.

Now if Jeff lives in a 10' x 12' igloo...

I never know what to thinkg about that. It does give the old guys time to heal up but I'm always afraid they will lose the edge (although they did not play all that well in the last game). I'm actually more excited that the Lakers don't appear to be the juggernaught I expected and will get abused by Houston for a few more games before meeting the Nuggets.

Does Silversun pickups count?

I saw the movie today and was very pleasantly surprised, some great action sequences and I thought the casting was very good.

I can't believe Houston won without Yao playing. I really thought the Lakers were going to be tougher.

Just watched "The Departed" last night. Not sure why it took so long to get to it. My new favorite actress:

Yeah, that's pretty cool. The sleestack's were several members of the UCLA basketball team.

Yep, and it made my night.

I'm a sucker for melodic power pop or whatever the hell it's called. Throw in Bun E. Carlos and how can you go wrong?

There is nothing like that tone he gets on Texas Flood. It's so clean and yet just screams. The sound of a Fender cranked all the way up and big heavy strings on his strat. I love SRV. [quote name='Crow Daddy Magnus

Pitchfork Reviews Jolly Banker (Gives it a 7).

I hope to see you there!

Kid Charlemagne is one of the greatest recorded solos of all time. What's amazing is his knowledge of theory and how he works the simplest pentatonic scales into his work. Room 335 is just scary.

Sad wings of Destiny is such an under rated album. Victim of changes was a huge influence on my life in high school. God help me I love Dreamer Deceiver.

I love the new U2, I still think it's the best thing since Achtung. I would love to hear a Dylan/McCartney collaboration. Macca needs somebody that is not afraid to push him on things. Seemed like Elvis had that ability to push him a bit. The Fireman stuff was stellar so having someone like Dylan that could provide a little acerbic wit to his sublime melodies would work out great. He needs that Lennon type cynical side for balance.

Speed, too bad you can't parley this into a career because as far as I'm concerned you should be able to make a living at it. Thanks for the laughs.

I like the fact that Tweedy and company seem to be in a really good place now that they can put an album cover like that out. It makes me smile just looking at it and that's enough for me. Long live the camel.
-
Awesome cover. Love it. A mountain Tapir might have worked also but the camel lends a certain levity for some reason.

This would be the perfect thread to "Rickroll" someone but I am much too nice for that.
