There are guys around here (Boulder) that run so long and far they push a baby stroller full of food the whole time.

What's funny about the teabaggers is they are outraged at the spending. But would they support cutting medicaire? Defense spending? Social Security? No way. Clearly without touching those you are not going to accomplish anything. Somehow they seem to think our deficits can be fixed if we quit helping out all those darn minorities that took out too big a loan for their houses and now can't pay, and all those tons of money going to immigrants. And funniest of all is their attitude that the white man can't seem to get a break in this country!

This is amazingly good so far...

Just listened to the entire Denver show from 8/29/10. Amazing. I absolutely love their version of "Oh Sweet Nuthin". I also got the 8/21/10 (Chicago Theatre) show to check out next. Chris' voice is really in top form, he is singing as good as he ever has.

His backup vocal parts on the first several albums are absolutely essential.

1. Wilco - I'm eternally optimistic, and I liked SBS and W(TA) 2. Radiohead - They can't seem to make a bad record 3. I expect something like Accelerate - I will listen to it a few times, like a few songs, then it goes into storage and I move on to something else.

Matt Taibbi says it well.

Merry Clayton on Gimme Shelter. When her voice cracks on "Murder" it kills me every time. Larry Carlton guitar solo on Kid Charlemagne Roy Harper on Have a Cigar Tom Waits on Tommy the Cat

It's...interesting so far. Very dense for lack of a better word. I think it will be like the Animal Collective album for me, takes a few listens for the melodys to start shining through but i'm liking it so far. Not sure about the use of Auto tune. That's getting tired these days.

Heard "Outtasite, (Outta mind)" on an episode of Psych this weekend. They pretty much played the entire song.

Yes. Nothing from the 70's sounds dated to me really. The 80's on the other hand...

Got this on pink vinyl on record store day, seeing them on Monday!

Really looking forward to hearing this one!

Sadly no. My stupid hack bar band is starting to get in the way of having a good time.

Any luck Lammy? I don't think I even came close to getting tickets but keep hope alive.

Chris Rock had an interesting take. If you could take a shot and double your salary, wouldn't you do it? (or something along those lines). -
This is where you lost me. Actually I really liked your description. Some great info and ideas in there.

My sentiments exactly.
