Is there still an issue with Amazon selling counterfeit copies or something like that? I'm hesitant to buy from them but at this price...

Very cool, had not heard that. I noticed they were playing Delta Spirit over the PA before the first band hit the stage. I sure hope they come back through here. I will be looking forward to that Middle Brother album. On another note, there is just something so cool about seeing bands like this humping their own equipment and hanging out in the crowd between sets (not much option, there was no backstage at this place). Will be a bit different from the Roger Waters concert I am going to see next week.

Don't forget about "Scrantonicity".

Alright, maybe not very good but I was not going to miss out on an opportunity to post a picture of them.

What a great show last night. I can't believe a band like that was playing in such a tiny club but at least the place was packed. Dawes has to have one of the more entertaining drummers in all of music right now. I really liked how Peace in the valley sounded live, very spare and powerful. I thought the new stuff was sounding good, he said the album won't come out until around May I think. I also thought Fire away waspretty good, sounded kind of like Springsteen. Both opening bands were pretty good. I like the Romany Rye, more Black Crowes than Fleet Foxes but that was a good description

Any Love Here for "The Walking Dead"?

I'm liking the show and have seen all the episodes so far. Like any new show it's got some issues around character development and things but it seems like it has real promise. It's not breaking any new ground or anything but it's a zombie show so I'm not looking for deep thought. I'm hoping it gets popular enought to keep going. -

I can't abide Christmas music or anything else christmas until after thanksgiving. Speaking of Thanksgiving, I'm starting a new tradition this year with my daughter. I taught her to play Alice's restaurant on guitar so we are going to sit and play along with the entire song when it comes on at noon on the radio. Of course she doesn't actually know this yet.

I'm kind of obsessed with this one right now.

Can't wait for the show on Monday, I may pick up that Dawes vinyl myself. Opening bands for this show are The Moondoggies and The Romany Rye. Can't say I have heard either of them, anyone know anything about them?

Is that program stricly weight loss/fitness or is there a muscle building element involved? 15 lbs. loss seems like a lot, especially if you are putting on muscle at the same time. Did you do anything radical with the diet at all? Sorry for all the questions, I'm just a guy looking for the right way to do this. I would like to lose about 15 lbs total (not necessarily in a month). I have heard good things about P90x and Insanity but it's probably a little more than I am ready for at this point and mentally I'm not sure I could stick to something like that. But damn, meeting my goal in 1 m

He did a few final cut songs when I saw him last year for the Dark side of the moon tour. I'm pretty sure "When the tigers broke free" was in the Wall movie but I think it fits better on The final cut. Would have been nice if it was on the vinyl I bought the day it came out but I do have it on 45 of all things.

New sprinsteen video on pitchfork. Sorry if this was already posted somewhere in here: The Promise

Could be just my own bias but it seems to me MSNBC viewers at least realize it's a left leaning station, Fox news watchers actually seem to believe it's fair and balanced. Maybe I'm wrong, I'm just going by 2 data points, myself and my dad.

Great Moments in Rock and Roll History
Moss replied to Ghost of Electricity's topic in Someone Else's Song
Even bigger than the Judas moment, Kings of Leon getting shit on by pigeons. -
I can't believe not a single show nearby, how I envy those of you who got to see them. Please let them tour again! Great shot Tinnitus, where is that at?
