Was there ever a book that was less like the movie made from it than Frankenstein? Ok, probably, but you get my point.

Jimmy Eat World covers "You and I" on their new album
Moss replied to chriscolbert's topic in Just A Fan
In case anyone else wants to listen to it, I'm also not impressed. Didn't realize Jimmy Eat World were Wilco fans. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pnxo1UWIhuU -
Nice work anthony, interesting fingerstyle you have, thought you were holding a pick at first, sounds great.

I have never read the same book twice. Seems like most the people I talk to think that's weird but I have just never had a desire, too many other books to read. But having said that, I have often thought about trying the Hobbit again. I was 13 when I read it and really don't remember it at all for some reason, I remember the Lord of the rings Trilogy quite well even though I read it around the same time.

Staying on the religion theme, just started this one.

Great review Mr. Heartbreak. Just saw the show tonight myself and was blown away. Like you said, the Bring the Boys back home part was quite moving and put a lump in my throat. That album has been a big part of my life and it's great to see how well it holds up musically as well as the message. I couldn't help thinking how lucky I was to have seen it as it just feels like an absolute artistic triumph. Rock Music as theater can be a delicate balance but I think he pulled it off very well.

Read that one awhile back and really liked it although it was a case of preaching to the choir.

I agree, love that album. I also love that picture on the cover. You can just see what the last 2 years were like for them in their faces.

Is this for real? You can really taste all that in coffee? I seriously have no palate.

It's so amazing to see Ringo having to spin his drum riser around, no roadies doing everything for him

I look at that picture and all I hear in my head is "Sugar sugar...ah honey honey, you were my candy girl...."

Every once in awhile I have to listen to something for just the pure guitarness of it.

I remember when our band tried to play a show before we had actually practiced, I think we had maybe 10 songs we could get through so had to make them last. We contemplated calling ourselves "the stalls".

Actually I just found the setlist for the show I proposed at. 1990 at the Colorado State fair. I remember it well, warm beer in my hand, the smell of funnel cakes was in the air... There are tons of counterfeit boxes out there with things like plastic instead of paper sleeves, asian credits on DVD's, typos, missing posters, etc... I would imagine you are only at risk when you buy the used ones but I thought I had heard somewhere that people were buying them new on Amazon and getting the knock offs.
