It's interesting, when Lenny Kravitz was set to open for U2 (prior to Bono's back issues) all the guys in our group were bummed and all the wives/girlfriends were excited. Must be a bit of a gender thing going on, not just because he is good looking or whatever, they were genuinely looking forward to the music. I do like "It ain't over til it's over" and a few others but not much. Now that the Fray is opening for U2 I'm kind of wishing it would go back to Lenny Kravitz.

Highly Praised Music Artists That Don't Do a Thing for You

I will second these 2 -
What a perfect nickname, "The Humbler".

I can't believe The Fray is opening the U2 show in Denver. Actually I can believe it but it still sucks.

Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly How dare they violate the sanctity of this version!

I am loving this album.

Guy at work just gave me this one.

Pure escapism.

I believe the David Bowie/Bing Crosby version of "Little Drummer boy" to be the definitive version.

I love the Black Mountain album. To me the first 2 songs are classic and maybe it drops off a bit from there. Definitely worth a listen though.

After listening to this again, it's still my favorite album of the year.

That was kind of my plan. Friday night with a friend, Saturday night with the wife. The Marriot is a nice hotel but if there is time to change, I would 2nd the opinion that the Boulderado or St. Julien would be better and closer to the show. Much better area to just go for a stroll before or after the show as well. Better restaurants within walking distance, great bookstores nearby, etc...

Congrats Chango. I scored tickets for both nights in Section B, pretty damn happy over all. Hope I get the chance to meet everybody.

Girls in soft fuzzy sweaters so magical to touch A warm grand Marnier on a freezing cold night Fireplaces A cat on my lap and a good book when it's freezing out and I don't have to go anywhere. The thought of summer

I am probably the wrong person to ask as it's not the type of music I usually listen to. But having said that, it is actually quite good. Pretty clever musically and lyrically. Great cameo by Chris Rock on one song. I'm enjoying it more than I would have guessed.

Yay, I got section B also (can't remember what row). See you all there! I had general admission seats when I saw David Sedaris at Boulder theatre in October. At that time it was a small section of seats in the very back of the first floor, right next to the bar area. The balcony was not general admission (at that time anyways). For those that are still trying, good luck with the sale tomorrow! I still don't have Saturday tickets so I will be giving that a shot.

Boulder Theatre is a great venue, right in the heart of Boulder's Pearl Street Mall so there is plenty of good food within walking distance (and great local beer). I seem to remember the capacity of the theatre is around 1000 people although with this show being all reserved I think it's less than that. I hope to get a ticket myself this morning and if so, I'll see you there! And Griddles, I have no idea why your registration did not work. Good luck though!

Thought I would check out the new Kanye since apperently it's the greatest album since Abbey Road.

10am MST, here is the link, you just have to sign up to be a "KBCO Interactive listener": Tweedy tickets

I didn't get any either, they must not have released that many for presale. There is another pre-sale tomorrow through the KBCO website. Damn, $75 for the good seats.

Brad is going to be on Kimmel tonight. I assume Stone is still in the band?
