I liked Accelerate way better than I thought I would and this new one is looking like it could be really good. I am ready for a new REM album and I have not said that in a long time.

Now that I'm listening to the explicit version and not the clean version things are making more sense. The line "I’ma need to see your f-cking hands at the concert" on the clean version sounds like "I'ma need to see you pee your pants at the concert". I thought he wanted people to get so excited they would pee.

Loved British steel but probably the one I listened to the least for some reason. Now that I think about it, Unleashed in the East was up there as one of my faves. Wore that one out. I thought their cover of Green Manalishi was the greatest thing ever when I was 14.

I loved Judas back in the day. Probably the loudest concert I have ever been to see. Couldn't hear very well out of my left ear for several days. It's those Halford screams that did it. Sad wings was probably my fave although I liked everything up through about Screaming for Vengeance. I listened to the Nostradomus album and was not impressed at all. Seemed kind of embarrassing lyrically and musically. Way over the top dramatic.

His influence was so much bigger than his record sales would imply. RIP.

I thought Animal Collective was kind of like that last year but I guess that is probably just the lists I look at. I gave the Kanye a good listen, very enjoyable and some clever lyrics but I will never be able to understand it being as criticially lauded as it is and certainly not the #1 of the year. Maybe it deserves it, I don't know, just does not sound that groundbreaking and brilliant to me.

I like Taylor Hanson's vocals, his work on Tinted Windows was actually really good. Some great stuff on that album.

I hate those farfetched ads. Like when someone goes into home depot and is immediately ushered around the store by the helpful staff. That has never happened. All I ever see is tumbleweeds blowing around.
