  1. tmrw around noon or so, send an email asking for set times to: PhoneAmbassador.Bost@livenation.com
  2. first off, it wasn't a real death threat. secondly, Mojo Nixon isn't actually a physical threat. Rollins kinda takes himself a bit too seriously at times but yeah, i could see him doing that. i wonder if Henry ended up finding the guy w/ one shoe https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dJwtEdhJq8w
  3. it would have bene more badass had Mojo turned and plunged a knife into him.
  4. yeah i agree that it would seem like The Stooges are kaput. No Asheton in the lineup wouldn't be right. glad i got to see them 4 times though.
  5. this is a total guess, and doesn't include mp3s: 1940's - >1% 1950's - >1% 1960's - 10% 1970's - 15% 1980's - 30% 1990's - 25% 2000's - 15% 2010's - 5%
  6. he states blankly behind some dark lenses, cig dangling insolently from his lower lip.
  7. from a facebook friend last night: "Tori Amos has located the lost city of Atlantis"
  8. i don't know a St. Padraig. just having a bit of craic.
  9. just read that Rock Action died yesterday. fuck, man. The Stooges were such an impressive force and gave energy to tons of people who followed. i was so fortunate to have seen four of their reunion tours after Iggy got 'em back on stage together. I think we all need to play some loud rock music right now.
  10. I know the original post specified 3 shows of each size, but it's so hard to narrow it down, i'll go to 4. Big shows: - The Who/The Clash, Shea Stadium, 1982 this was the first farewell tour the Who did, and little did i know i'd see two more incarnations of them saying goodbye. but what a rush...i was in 10th grade, and this shit was happening. a high school friend of mine and i went down to NYC w/ his older brother, who ended up bribing some security guy to get us out onto the field in GA...our original seats were horrible, obstructed view behind home plate. David Johansen was a decent
  11. other than going to a St. Patty's Day party at a friend's house tonight, I'm waiting patiently for my MRI on Monday night.
  12. There's a difference between being on the same bill and on the same stage together, right? I'd say my oddest moment was the dinosaur jr 25th anniversary show of Your Living All Over Me. Fred Armisen playing drums with Jon Petkovic on vocals for a Stooges song was bizarre, but was easily topped with Johnny Marr and Dale Crover playing. smiths song with J and Lou.
  13. $170 for the Ditch in a Box RSD is too much.
  14. yeah, i'm betting that not people have this going through their head at any sort of frequency: "I could really go for some pickled fish right about now"
  15. thanks Choo Choo. Mr H, they are pretty loud but it depends on where you are. i'd definitely bring 'em, but you may end up not needing them.
  16. nope, not mine. hence my tongue-in-cheek bitching i would have been happy to have these used:
  17. the worst part of that article is the live photo selection they chose to run.
