this isn't quite the right thread, but i couldn't find the 'most underrated' one...i think this took a detour into that land. anyway, i was reading the newest issue of The Big Takeover (full disclosure - i am a contributor) and read the excellent essay from Tim Sommer on that very subject. I won't spoil it for people who want to read it, but i totally agree w/ his #1 pick and have some serious digging to do w/ his #2 selection.

i thought it was ridiculous when i first saw it, but after learning the back story i am fine w/ it. and yeah...interviewing the guy seconds after making a huge play to help his team go to the Super Bowl, against a guy he actively hates? BOOM! no surprises there. the more offensive post-game interview was Pam Oliver acting like she was at a funeral when talking w/ dickhead #1 Harbaugh.

Even Carlos Mencia doesn't steal from Gallagher.

Yeah I was thinking it was a Sunday show....they always were before, I think. We have been to three of them, but bailed on one as we had a large and early dinner and the had no motivation to hang around for another two hours before doors opened. So we drove home. The best one was the show when CVB played Key Lime Pie.

Yeah it went much better. There was a significant number of people who had hard tickets already. I was under the impression that everything was will call but maybe it was only the initial allotment of tickets sold via NMH's site. Awesome night. We had great seats (7th row, towards the center) and knew about a dozen people within a few rows of us. Funny.
