here's a vid i took of their Zevon cover last year (watch it in 720 and stick around for the searing guitar solo that Cooley unleashes right at my camera) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ikBwn43eq1k -

Decoration Day is their greatest achievement. The new one sounds good. Better than the last three easily. WRP, don't discount the odds and ends record, The Fine Print. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -
for dancing around to mostly pre-recorded tracks, it was pretty alright.

when they all started banging drums, a friend of mine called them "White Man Group" they are the French version of The Residents, only in pop format. -

the best part of the Grammys last night was Noviselic interjecting over Grohl to include The Stones and Sabbath to his Beatles inspiration. of the performances...well, it's not really my thing but John Legend did a fine job. i thought the Carole King/Sara Bareilles (sp?) was the best of the night, both looked to be having a lot of fun. Willie et al was good, but Kris Kristoffersen looked lost and was playing guitar like Peter Gammons (any Boston-area people who have been to a Hot Stove/Cool Music event will know what i'm talking about). i went to bed before Metallica played. -
