How much are concert tees these days?
tinnitus photography replied to PopTodd's topic in Tongue-Tied Lightning
keep in mind that a lot of the time the venue takes a 30% cut, so that's one reason why prices are so high...i would guess $30 at a minimum, probably $40... -
dug it! esp like the Theologians bit tossed in there.

yeah, i would see Colin as a good but not great songwriter, certainly not to the level of Andy. he's kinda like the Harrison to Andy's Macca/Lennon. still, as you noted above, he can certainly churn out some outstanding material.

I strongly recommend people getting there in time on Saturday to check out Rick Bishop...the guy is a MASTER of guitar, extremely sharp-witted, and just a great all-around human. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kzCqVhnenVE

no, that's actually a scheduled event.

hope my tongue-in-cheek statement wasn't taken the wrong way. there is an official schedule which i imagine will be unveiled shortly.

What albums are flawless to you?
tinnitus photography replied to remphish1's topic in Someone Else's Song
there's a 7" of Send In The Clouds which condenses it. I love the phrasing of that song I am the trick my mother played on the world Seventeen doctors couldn't decide whether I should be allowed in the game. 'buckingham rabbit' and 'the wild kindness' are immense songs. -

which song spoils the fun of _American Water_ for you? my least favorite track is probably "People" but even that's a pretty good song. -

Super Furry Animals, maybe? which is funny, because i love them, and really don't like the Beach Boys. -
i saw 'em once and they do a great job w/ the visual projections as well.

yeah i must have gotten confused re: Homegrown, as I've heard some but obviously not all of those songs. -
'sex on fire' is a contender for the dumbest song title of the century.
-
next time i hope there are St. Bernards in the rafters.

Neil Young's Lost 70's albums

i've found both Chrome Dreams and Homegrown from some various internet sources. both had songs that popped up on official releases. haven't heard the other two. i've got an LP of Time Fades Away but it's funny how Neil still shies away from that one...i wonder way, it's great.
