  1. scored two tickets! good seats, too... i was surprised that the 2nd highest priced tickets ($48) were in the front orchestra section (i got right orch, row JJ). now what song does Otis wanna hear? probably either Magazine Called Sunset or HMD.
  2. A lady photographer friend went to both KC shows in Boston. When Van Der Graaf Generator played here years back, Peter Hammill took the stage and asked if there were any women in the audience. There were a few, including an African American. Shocking!
  3. i almost agree with you, but really... not playing Philly since 2010 is really odd.
  4. Rush would win, as they have an overall much larger fan base. unless there's something weird going on with percentage of female fans across prog rock bands.
  5. do you think there are more female King Crimson fans, or female Zappa fans?
  6. with the 2nd show added, the price will drop accordingly.
  7. it does in Boston: No tickets right now, but... Get a text in case more tickets become available. Message & Data Rates May Apply Need accessible seats? Click "Request Accessible Tickets" at the top right of this ma but a friend made an astute observation that Saturday is open on Wilco's tour, and the Orpheum is likely open too.... 2nd night?

  11. congrats on getting good seats...frustrating to see someone after you get KK seats though. i can't imagine anyone would have tossed those seats back into the general pool, so it's not clear why they wouldn't have been available when you were buying. since you tossed seats back, how does it work at the box office? the person in the office is accessing the same software and then tells you where the seats are? or do they have an allotment of paper tickets? i instantly got shut out online a la Knotgreen, but kept trying.... the TM site didn't allow for the 'choose seats' option like others h
  12. i think i am gonna ask this question on Quora... seems like there must be something going on... i used to be skeptical and chalked it up all to human demand, but i am not sure after today. here's an article about a bot that gets hard to secure restaurant reservations... i'm sure there are similar ones for buying tickets. https://diogomonica.com/bot-wars-the-arms-race-of-restaurant-reservations-in-sf/ one helpful thing would be to limit ticket sales to 4. who needs 8 seats together?
  13. gah... got one very good single seat in the Mezz... i think i'll take it.
  14. even the tickets on Stubhub are not that good. wow.
  15. just pulled one pretty good seat (center balcony, row H) but i need two... oh well.
  16. you looking for single tickets? if i am bringing my 13 year old, he's not gonna be sitting by himself. edit - just pulled two seats in the last row of the balcony. no thanks.
  17. i typed in captcha codes in two browsers for at least 15-20 reps, and eventually got two seats but they were the lower box A, way to the left... you cna't see shit from that angle so i'll guess that i'll take my chances via stubhub.
  18. insane... that was even faster than the two presales... Sorry, no tickets from venue currently...Tons of fans are shopping and some may have let their tickets go. You can try again or change quantity or ticket type.
