Meeting people through shows and hanging out at guitar shops and record stores got me involved w/ others playing out. If you've got a solid idea of the direction you want to go with your music I'd suggest hanging a flyer out yourself.

It's just my first listen. I'd say those impressions are accurate. I like PJ best during her more raucous moments and this is definitely more reserved, subdued and somber. We'll live with it a bit and see... Edit: The Mountain has some pretty lively screams in it....drawing some attention from the co-workers this AM

Yup. It comes up from time to time. My copy of Live at the Old Quarter is in bad shape. The jewel is cracked and the cover insert is dog eared, dirty and torn. Townes travels with me pretty much everywhere. I've a friend who makes it a point to play Townes once a week on her Tuesday noontime show. There's something special about hearing him over the air.

"I was the third stall from the wall which was to my left(East)". Was it really imperative to provide stall coordinates here? -
This was excellent. Chris Cooper is wonderful as infamous spy Robert Hanssen.

I'm going into our Fantasy draft this weekend without any idea as to what's been happening in off season. Did the same thing last year and won it all. Also, I'm still pulling for the Redskins. This means that not only am I clueless but that I'm insane as well.

I called MusicToday just after seeing the initial posting here. Customer service is not seeing it on their schedule of events yet, but they tell me a pre-sale is likely imminent

Ok. Monty M. Monty was a stocky rambunctious kid I'd know since kindergarten. His pop was a mechanic by trade. A big burly man with a barrel chest, wild beard and a vocabulary comprised of a series of monosyllabic grunts: A nice man, if a little intimidating. Monts and I weren't best friends but we hung around a lot. I'm pretty certain he hadn't told a soul the old man had bought him a 72 Impala and that they'd been working on getting it road ready. So when he showed up at school one morning driving a rumbling freshly painted black behemoth it was a surprise to us all. It sounded nas

I'm waffling here: Shall I tell the story of Monty M. and his first full day with his new car and license? It's not tragic or anything and no one gets hurt.

Back in the mid Seventies I got to ride along while my pop was teaching my older sisters how to drive. I was about six at the time and they were fifteen and sixteen respectively. We were going through one of the more affluent neighborhoods in town when my oldest sister took a turn a little too wide and a bit too fast; ( Keep in mind this was an old 1500cc Fiat sedan. Small, slow and with a clutch like a dump truck). She managed to side-swipe at least three parked cars before the old man was able to grab the wheel and steer he back towards the center of the road. I recall finding the exper

I did it this past Spring w/a early 80s Warmouth body that is part of a "Frankenstein" Strat I too have owned forever and am reluctant to part with. Assuming that your body is already routed to accept the vibrato, basic assembly of the new pickups, bridge etc wont be a big deal. Things to consider: Pickguard. If your gonna change it, check the hole patter against the new one. If your going to strip the body down, now's a good time to fill any extra holes you've got. This goes ditto for any around the bridge area. Wanna shield the control cavity? Now's a good time for that too. Don't skimp
