Doubt it. As an acoustic player I'm assuming the radius/width isn't the problem for you. Is it the shape and profile; (C-D shape?). You can go aftermarket replacement, which is probably your best bet but that'd be something you'd really have to hold in your hands to make a judgment on. You can have the profile altered by a luthier if the two of you can come to a consensus of what shape your really going after. But then you'd have to deal with the issue of the finish on the back of the neck. PS. I really dig that little decal in the center of the pickgard+ that wine color. Nice looking Tele.

These guitars are great for the money. However I do have a few issues w/them. * Fit and finish is generally good but I've seen a few examples where the frets could use a little extra work. Dressing isn't consistent down the length of the fret board and can look a little rough where the frets meet the binding and they've quickly filed the ends. * Don't dig the clear pick guard (aesthetic issue, to each his own) or the laminated peg head. They (Gretsch) do a much better job on the Synchromatic line. *Pots are not of the greatest quality. Can be noisy right outta the box. Will probably give you

Little Feat were astoundingly good in their heyday and WFC has gotta be in my top ten records. Whenever I get together to play music with people I've never played with before these are some of the songs I go to looking for common ground: "Do you know 'All that you dream'? 'Time Loves a hero"? Man, they were some kinda tight.

Check this out. From Guitar Player Mag. $500 dollar guitar roundup article in .pdf form http://www.guitarplayer.com/oldcontentimag...ttleNumbers.pdf I should also mention I have played the Paul Reed Smith SE Soapbar II and have found it to be a very cool guitar.

I know your looking for input and suggestions on how to use your Tele to achieve that classic bright crisp sound but if you really want to know everything about Telecasters may I suggest... The Guitar Book:A Handbook for Electric and Acoustic Guitarists Revised and Enlarged Edition By Tom Wheeler and American Guitars Revised Edition:An Illustrated History also by Wheeler Both delve into the history of Fender and the origins and evolution of the Tele in great detail. Neat books.

Good calls. I'd add just about anything by Richard Russo, Vonnegut, and Chabon to a fiction list for a book club.

Chris: I didn't, no. But I did speak to the fellow who did. That shot was from last night, and since I seem to recall you are a bit fond of that fellow on the right... Photo set 9/30/07

better than hugging a tree or saving some dirt

We had a big guy like that a few months back who while crossing highway traffic was tagged by a car and broke a leg. He shimmied about twenty feet up a tree that was in the median, perched himself on a fairly small branch overhanging the highway and reclined with his back against the trunk of the tree as if he were sitting in a Lazy-Boy. His position in the tree put him at eye level to onlookers standing on a raised bank just to the side of the road. It's certain he was stressed. The chaos below, people, cars etc. but he looked resigned and content to be there waiting to see what would unfold. -
He seems to have that effect on people. I was spinning TMPoE just this past weekend while a friend was hanging out out the house. At some point she asked who the artist was. I was a bit taken aback as she's generally pretty hip to what's currently out there and has excellent taste in music. She parked herself in front of the turntable for an entire spin, swooning over the music. Andrew is playing about 60 miles away this coming Sunday. I didn't mention it at the time, as I was un-certain tickets were still available; (Tickets were still available. Whoa!). Gave her a call late last night a

Damn, damn ,damn. Andrew is opening for Bright Eyes on the 20th of October. Oh well, at least I'll see him this Sunday.

Yeah, I don't get this mentality either. "Mortified" and "violated" probably more accurately reflect how a person would feel in this situation. Vibes to Meg in these difficult times...
