  1. "A cherry pie that'll kill ya".
  2. I'd normally agree w/this, except considering the guy's position in life and everything he jeopardized with these heinous actions. I dunno. Hope the judge throws the book at the man.
  3. His Gal Friday (1940) Last night on TCM. Love the timing, Rosalind Russell and the overlapping dialog. Part 8 of 11 on YouTube
  4. Been there. Sincerest vibes headed your way. You'll be ok, it gets better. Honestly.
  5. I was worried about these Cicada Killer Wasps that I discovered in a flower bed yesterday; (1-1.8 inches in length ). But, having just read of their benign intents and gentle nature I'm feeling much relieved.
  6. Steinberg. W/ a Trans Trem bridge. What? I used to work in a shop...
  7. BTW guys: While I don't feel this was Chabon's best work, the last third was pretty terrific if you like Noir type mysteries.

Other than that , can't comment. However, there's this thing on one of the channels called "Dogfights" which I've become smitten with. Especially the Kamikaze episode depicting the Luftwaffe ramming US bombers in mid-flight. How crazy was that? Pretty fu**in. More incredible some of those Nazi and Allied pilots survived and are inter
  12. Caught a snippet of "Last Goodbye" on the radio coming back from lunch, so I threw this on. How ever many years out we are from his death, this record still never fails to break my heart.
  13. With all due respect to Eddie VH there have been periods in his career when his sound or "tone" was indeed as you put it "sounding like complete ass". I guess most guys go through this tho. Clapton after the Money and Cigarettes period had way to many effects going on all at once; (Early nineties was notorious for that god awful jingly Chorus sound permeating everything. Some guys are wizards with effect chains and their sound is intregal to their overall performance. Others are better served keeping it simple. As a guitarist myself, I love stompboxes of all kinds and find it a joy to pl
  14. No. It's loud but not DBT loud. Yeah, that's a reasonable statement. Just buy a good set as opposed to the foam ones that can be popped in and out pretty easily. See lots of kids, small and large at Wilco shows and think it's a really wonderful thing.
