  1. The whole album is streaming on iTunes radio... It's awesome.
  2. Flowering is up on Kung Fu for those who preordered.
  3. Most of those links are dead. If anyone's itching to upload the Stockholm Sessions, I certainly wouldn't hold it against you. I just got Boston tickets. That was one of the more miserable ticket buying experiences for me. I usually luck out, but not this time. I'll be in the back of the floor. It's gross how many tickets immediately surfaced on StubHub.
  4. Hey all, If anyone has two in the pit (AA-GG) or the first part of the orchestra section, please let me know! I'm trying to avoid Stubhub! Thanks!
  5. New tour dates announced this morning, including Boston on 11/18!
  6. Seems like tickets for Northampton went on sale before the scheduled 10am. Only one lone ticket on the floor left as of 9:50AM. We can knock Ticketmaster for their ridiculous fees, but at least they are consistent with on sale times...
  7. Pulled two in the 4th row for Boston. No pit tickets in Northampton by the time I finished checking out... Will try during the public on sale!
  8. New Tweedy dates in Athens, Philly, Ithaca, Boston, Northampton, Portland, & Burlington. Pre-sale this Wed., August 6 at 10am ET. On sale Fri., August 8 at 10am ET.
  9. This one was posted on the NFF instagram. Too good not to repost here: (photographer: Nina Westervelt)
  10. Wow. Thanks, Bbop! I think you've inspired me to start bringing a pen & paper to shows. Not Wilco shows though, that's your territory.
  11. We couldn't figure out who he was! I don't think he plays with MCK, but I could be wrong.
  12. From Facebook: Wilco returns to Ohio this September. Presale on Wed., 7/30. 10am ET. On sale Fri., 8/1. 10am ET. Sept 3 @ LC Pavilion - Columbus, OH Sept 4 @ Akron Civic Theater - Akron, OH
  13. Bbop, I'd definitely be interested in the setlist, if you're able to piece it together! If it's at all helpful, I was able to grab 1/2 of the on-stage lineup that Sara and Sean had, and got a photo of the other half. Hour one: http://imgur.com/VIMEs8e Hour two: http://imgur.com/c3B1dYN I should say that Langhorne Slim was a real highlight for me. I wasn't all that familiar with him and was really fond of the two solo songs he played. Also Tom Brosseau. My god, what a voice. The evening was really special for my girlfriend, who has been a Nickel Creek fan for years. As you mentioned, unl
  14. All in all a good day at Newport Folk! Mavis joining in on Jeff's set was really special. The highlight of the day, for me anyway, was definitely The Watkins Family Hour show after the festival. It's hard to express how cool this show was. The best I can do might be to list off the artists who played: Sara and Sean Watkins (Nickel Creek), Willie Watson (Old Crow Medicine Show), Chris Funk (The Decemberists), Kenneth Pattengale (The Milk Carton Kids), Langhorne Slim, John C. Reilly, Tom Brosseau, Hurray For The Riff Raff, Aoife O’Donovan, and Pokey LaFarge. I'm sure I missed some!
  15. Edited the setlist at the top of the page. I'm proud I got 'em all right; just butchered the order! Thanks for the recording!
  16. There was no opening act tonight. The band took the stage at about 10 after 8 and played for two hours. My girlfriend was lucky enough to snag a setlist from the stage. It reads as follows: Down From Above Diamond Light Flowering Summer Noon Honey Combed Desert Bell World Away New Moon Fake Fur Coat Hazel High As Hello Low Key Slow Love Nobody Dies -Solo- I Am Trying To Break Your HeartOne WingHummingbirdNew MadridPlease Tell My BrotherRuling ClassPassenger SideLaminated CatBorn AloneJesus Etc.I'm The Man Who Loves You -Encore (Full Band)- You're Not Alone Key To My Heart Only The Lord K
  17. RA retweeted someone who posted the setlist:
  18. Nothing like spending $7 to ship a $6 record. I shouldn't really complain though, I'm happy to have been able to purchase one. Here's to hoping RA adds a Boston date to that fall tour.
  19. You mean you didn't just click play and then minimize the page? I think one of the major reasons that I'm not that crazy about TWL is that the songs all had that predictable Wilco sound that was present on SBS and overwhelming on W(TA). I so preferred the solo versions of the TWL songs that Jeff was playing prior to the album's release. What's refreshing about Summer Noon, for me, is that it's a bit simpler.
  20. A.M.: Box Full of Letters Being There: Misunderstood Summerteeth: She's a Jar Yankee Hotel Foxtrot: Poor Places A Ghost is Born: Less Than You Think Sky Blue Sky: You Are My Face Wilco (The Album): One Wing The Whole Love: One Sunday Morning
  21. Again, great photos and review. My friends got a real kick out of the crowd shot. (I think they were also pretty surprised that people not only still chat on message boards, but actually meet "IRL" too) It's tough for me to complain about hearing so many "The Worse Things Get..." songs, because they're SO good live. I'd imagine that these songs will dominate Neko's setlists for quite some time. One other thing-- The highlight for me was the Case/ Bachmann duet on Sleep all Summer. What a great song!
  22. good running into you again last night! you got some nice photos-- particularly the crowd shot
  23. no kidding. is the front part of the lawn already covered? I figured I'd arrive at 6pm and it would be empty... guess not.
