  1. What a great movie. Plenty of technology on display in that clip, a mouse...call waiting!
  2. Agree. The best thing about it is it sounds like the last three albums.
  3. I'm goina take a long shot and go with Capitol City.
  4. I definitely miss my 5-speeds but there is a time and a place for an automatic and that time is rush hour.
  5. The big question here is has Wimpy sold out or is this stuff actually pretty good? He's always been more of a hamburger guy.
  6. That is so easy. It's obviously the Venomous Water Mammals debut album, "Hand Me That Baby Platypus"
  7. I Love My Ladel is excellent when paired with Pho Places and Black Bean Nova.
  8. I'd have to say the Shins. 11 years...3 strong studio albums.
  9. I like what they've done with the other 5 non Whole Love and non Nick Lowe Songs. Proper samplings from all types of Wilco. Would prefer "I Love My Ladel" to 'Cruel to be Kind" though. Saw them do it twice this latest tour and each time there wasn't a guy onstage not grinning ear to ear the entire song...great vibe.
  10. Agee with the first part 100%. I have used it as my pee break. I do like the song but would gladly trade the concert version for almost any 2 other songs live.
  11. I appreciate the 2 responses and checked into Roxio but I thought I might bump the thread here a little and try to get some more info/suggestions. I'm not really looking to do too much editing. Would love to just be able to drop the needle or push play on the Roadcase and push record.
  12. I'm really ignorant to any ripping or recording to the pc. I want to be able to transfer some vinyl to the computer and maybe rip stuff like the roadcase shows and other bootlegs. I have a HP laptop with Windows 7. Most people I have asked about file sharing and recording to the computer just say "get a Mac". Any forseeable issues.
  13. This thread just reminded me how irritated I was when I recieved the vinyl in the mail with no download coupon. I have listended to the album maybe 6 times on the old Technics but havent fully embraced it still a year later because I don't have a digital version(or as I put it in my email to R.E.M..."my record player in my car broke"). I buy my music. I don't file share or any of that stuff if I want a release I buy it and usually on vinyl if its available. This was the only time in the last few years I can remember being screwed by buying the vinyl...unlike our friends at Wilco who give you a
  14. So your actually asking our opinion if you should like this...for some reason I doubt that?
  15. I also worked on a tree lot in highschool. I loved it. We had a fire barrel and a couple flasks and not too many customers so it was quite nice. Since I had those perks we always had a nice Fraser Fir which is IMO the only kind to bring into the house. When I moved out I kept the tradition alive until a couple of years ago when Frasers jumped from $29 to $59 overnight. We went to fake pre-lit a few years ago and I'm now used to it. I still have satisfaction for "going and getting a tree" though becasue its actually easier to walk into the woods and cut one down then dig mine out of the baseme
  16. I agree with the do what you want sentiment. My mom was the 9th of 17....yeah 17(non-Mormon BTW),my wife and I were looking at over 250 people at the least. After about a week of trying to work with that amount we said "fuck it,let's go to the beach." Ended up in Hilton Head. Gave the family and friends the itinerary and said basically " we're getting married here at this time, we'd love for you to join us". Ended up with 65 people from Ky makin the trip. Married barefoot, with the water on our feet. Reception by tiki light. Whole deal was pretty stress free. Your wedding shouldn't be stressful
  17. Consider this the begining of "Occupy the Removed Ummm Forum" This aggression will not stand man. I'm not leaving. I have pitched my cyber tent and will soon have cyber body odor and will be playing my cyber didgeridoo and hitting the cyber bong and am fully prepared to take a cyber dump in this cyber coffee can in my cyber tent if that is what needs to happen.
  18. Back when I would get the Cincinnati Enquirer everyday before it fell into the "you couldn't kill a fly with that" status I would seriously read Rex Morgan M.D. to all the guys at the break table. 12 burly construction workers and a boy(me) tuning in for a newspaper soap opera read aloud by an 18 year old. Pretty funny shit. I started reading it as a joke and next thing you know we are having a 15 minute disussion on the possibilites of Rex getting some ass on a house call.."damn it, guess we"ll have to wait till Monday". Now I get USA Today and the only funnies are Al Neuhath's rants.
  19. Thats not funny...so it is a fitting tribute to Family Circus.
  20. More 7 Worlds Collide I'm hoping. I think Neil Finn might be the coolest dude on the planet.
  21. Seriously. This is turning your head to child abuse. I dont give a fuck how many wins you have. As a sports fan I've always loved Paterno but he has to go. This is no different than a non-mollesting Catholic preist(oxymoron perhaps) turning his head while another one is feelin up the altar boy. Legalities aside its morally unacceptable, lovable Columbo looking legend or not.
