  1. I've never tweeted. Does it hurt, can you go blind if you do it too much,i heard it gives you warts.
  2. September 27th is way too far away to be releasing shit this awesome.
  3. Yeah he's an absolute mess. I hope he can hold it together and stay alive long enough to reach half of his creative capacity. He's got some great interviews out there on YouTube. I'm a sucker for dark albums and this Black Dirt is about as dark as it gets.
  4. I Might-89.7 WNKU Northern Kentucky. I had it about as loud as my truck can handle. Brings up a discussion(not that this song is one of them but) songs you might skip over if they come up on random on the Ipod but when they come across the radio dial it makes your day.
  5. Seems like these shows will be a great candidate for another live release ala Kicking Television. 2 night, great acoustics, new album a week old.
  6. When cutting the grass and thats about it. Skipping requires one handing the mower, whippin the ipod out of the back pocket, unlocking, skipping, locking, and then reinsertion. Thats about the only time its not worth it. For some reason I will listen to about 2 or 3 minutes of it every time though even know I know I'm going to skip it. Sounds like a question for Mr.Freud.
  7. That might explain it, 2 and 4 could pass for dead as well.
  8. For the record I'm not insinuating that I think #1 looks cool, he just looks like he's getting the least kicks out of being that douchey.
  9. Do you think these guys seperate their laundry on tour or just throw it in one pile and you wear which ever black shirt you pull out that day. Just for fun rank them by douchebagness from left to right...I'm going with 2-4-3-1.
  10. My record player in my car broke a couple years ago so I've been forced to buy multiple formats for some of the albums I love.
  11. Hey I feel good about my $56 copy now.
  12. Yeah what he said! Amos Lee is notorius for smashing watermelons and spraying orange Faygo on the audience.
  13. Hey Panther...what the hell you been up to?
  14. Rumors are swirling around Cincinnati that not only has Sir Paul not allowed meat to be sold at tomorrow's show at Great American Ballpark but even meat related sinage is to be covered or removed. I'm considering taking my grill over there and making a small fortune on burgers and dogs before and after the show.
  15. Actually I did about 4 times. So a 120 with the same amount of music time wise can/could sound just as good as a 180, it would just undermine marketing of the thick platter.
  16. Forgive me if you answered this but my gripe with 180g vinyls is that they usually can't hold an entire album on one disc. Is there not a correlation betweeen 180g and the amount of music it can hold? It just seems for my personal opinion having the entire album on one disc beats the supposed aural benefits of 180g's.
  17. A.M. 180- Grandaddy Acrobat-U2 Act Naturally- The Beatles Activa- Deerhunter Acuff-Rose- Jeff Tweedy (Vic solo unplugged) Aeroplane Flies High(Turns Left, Looks Right)-Smashing Pumpkins After the Goldrush-Neil Young Against the 70's-Pearl Jam(Austrailia 95') Against the Law-Billy Bragg The Agony of Laffitte-Nada Surf .........................Sorry, my random can be very dissapointing sometimes.
  18. Is this referring to general odor?
  19. Pretty much my opinion as well. I'd prefer they just put as many songs on the record as possible. Don't know that I can hear the difference between the 120g and 180g.
  20. I know 1800 Gram is the new standard but I find myself playing my 120 grams more because I get twice the songs per side thus less flipping and more listening. I kinda feel the convenience outweighs the listening quality. Just a thought, anybody care to comment. Also wondering about wireless headphones. Anybody have a pair and if so are they worth that convenience?
  21. Also not a fan of LOL. I just typed it for the first time and already feel douchey. As far as the hipsters on the bikes quoted earlier this is a phenomenon that is getting out of hand. I attended the Heartless Bastards show last night here in beautiful Northern Kentucky and you could not swing a dead cat without hittin a dude in thick black rims, hair grease, skinny jeans and a long sleeve button down despite the 105 degree heat index, and apparently half of them rode a bike there .It reminded me of that time I went to the casting call for "Outsiders...The Musical"
