  1. We are getting the new Sherlock this January (PBS). And we'll get the new Doc Martin at some point.
  2. Exactly. Would you like a Jelly Baby? (The other British shows I have watched recently are: Above Suspicion, Whitechapel, and The IT Crowd.)
  3. I was wrong before - the only two Road Trips releases I have are:
  4. She was also the producer of Jonathan Creek (among other things.) Not too long now - tomorrow afternoon is when we will see the show.
  5. I think when he does New, New Minglewood Blues - it is totally awesome. I have probably never heard Bob play slide. I have always been partial to the Rolling Stones version of Little Red Rooster.
  6. Billboard article about Betty and Chris: I don't know if I believe what Chris says about her not wanting to work with a band since Jerry died. I believe she has - maybe mostly local bands. I think the last thing I read about her was that she was working with church choirs or something like that. This is a great show by the way:
  7. An Annotated Guide to All 50 Minutes of New ‘Blue Velvet’ Footage
  8. I don't think I could ever do that. I'd be more inclined to just give away cds I didn't want.
  9. Trigger Hippy - new song - Turpentine. Entire EP up at triggerhippy.net.
  10. I was watching the video he put out for the 2014 DP Series a few minutes ago. He mentions 69/70/71 towards the end of the video. I say that is probably a good thing.
  11. For those of you wanting a new Rich solo album: I have to wonder why he needs to sign with a record company - when the Black Crowes have their own label/distribution deal. Although maybe that does not exist anymore.
  12. I don't think he said - just mentioned the year. I wonder what else was in that box of tapes.
  13. I started reading Tune In: The Beatles: All These Years ( Mark Lewisohn) the other day. He goes into a lot of family background - which is sort of interesting. Even at 900 pages, I can tell he had to cut a lot out. Of course, this is only the first volume. I think I read there is going to be three books altogether. I also grabbed Live At The BBC Volume 2. I have to wonder why they didn't just put all the BBC stuff out when the first BBC album was released in 1994. I don't know if I will grab the first volume again or not. Some say the re-mastering sounds better. Times change:
  14. I just ordered it yesterday. According to a RS interview with David, there is a great 1971 show among the tapes they received from MG.
  15. Non-Fiction is one of my favorite songs of all times. I got to see them do it on SNL (on TV that is) back in the day. At the time, it was unreleased. Even then, it caught my attention.
  16. I think Amorica/Tall Sessions/the bootleg stuff they didn't put out from those sessions is still my favorite music from the band.
  17. I was thinking that was the guitar Ramrod's family sold after he died. Maybe not.
  18. I was reading the comments and noticed that people have already received it. I wonder how Mountain Girl ended up with those tapes? I take it they must have been with some of Jerry's stuff that she ended up with.
  19. That is pretty cool. I don't know that I much cared for Luther at first - but I grew to like his contributions. The show that was briefly out there was 02/21/2009. I am grabbing some more shows from this tour - and then I will listen to them at some point. I did listen to the 10-18-2013 show last weekend.
  20. I recall an interview somewhere where Jeff or Jay mentioned a live album that was put together but never released.
  21. The order page for the cd is up now: Family Dog at the Great Highway, San Francisco, CA 4/18/70 CD.
  22. The cd was re-issued in 2003. You must be thinking of the vinyl re-issue.
  23. I don't know if I want to buy it for a third time or not. I have all those bonus tracks. I suppose if I buy this one, it will be for the liner notes and improved sound quality of the bonus tracks.
