With most bands, the rule i go by is the second night is always better. However, with Wilco you will hardly be disappointed either night you go

Thanks for the info. I'm kinda miffed about how the onsales (and presales) are the same time as well, as i am looking to get Central Park tix as well. But if the seating for Ryman is gonna be reserved, im gonna obviously try to get those first (plus NYC has other presales)
-
I have the same question about the Ryman in Nashville. Being a New Yorker and having never been to the Ryman before, are there good/bad seats/reserved seating? is it all GA? Are there different sections?
-
Judging by the "4 ticket limit" and other anti-scalping actions that are being imposed on all of the shows, Wilco clearly think it's gonna be tougher as well. Also, i know someone a bit farther up asked it, but does anyone know anything about Nashville venue/promoter/non-wilco presales?

1. Bonnaroo 2009 2. Bonnaroo 2009 I had heard of Wilco prior to this, and i remember that Impossible Germany sounded familiar when they played it, but had never listened to Wilco before seeing them at Bonnaroo. I knew my dad was a fan (though before bonnaroo, he hadn't seen them since Irving Plaza in '97), but since that Bonnaroo we've both been hooked completely, and saw them another two times before 2009 was over (Dutchuess stadium 7/18 and UIC pavillion 10/18) and another 3 times in 2010 (2 nights at the Wellmont and Solid Sound).

Hoodoo Voodoo is the Guitar-duel song It should also be noted that Pat took the solo on Box Full of Letters, always nice to see him take a good solo.

More importantly, Mustache was on the cowbell. -
Wish i would have waited around for levon, though im hardly surprised the wilco boys came out with him. Were all six of them out there?
-
There were 5 new songs played, plus the Nick Lowe cover "I love my Label" which is the B-side to "I might"
-
Only 2 repeats between the 2 shows, I might and Born to die alone. Tonights show was much more energetic, though banter was still kept to a minimum as rain before Syl Johnson's set once again forced wilco to start late. Born to die alone is definitely my favorite of the new songs we've heard so far, it sounded real good both nights. Very surprised to hear What Light, a pleasant surprise though.

Hey everyone, I'll be livetweeting the setlist once again tonight. Either loom me up as Justin_Krim, or follow the hashtag #fuckyorktown to follow the setlist if you couldn't make it to the show
-
Short show, at 22 songs the shortest Wilco show i've seen, and thats including a Bonnaroo set. Still a great show though, never rocked out harder in a rain poncho (probably looked real cool doing so). It was really great to hear Poor Places > Reservations > Spiders, been waiting a while to hear that one, plus i haven't heard the full, electric version of spiders in over 2 years, forgot how awesome it was. I was live-tweeting the setlist last night, and probably will do the same tonight. My name on twitter is Justin_Krim, so you can follow along if you're not there

Good point, never thought of that really

Saw this on Houston street in NYC yesterday, got me pumped for this weekend
-
Wow, that's quite a trip. That makes my recent trip from NYC to Tennessee look like a daily commute. Good luck, should be amazing to say the least.

Which show were you at? I was at the first of the last T5 shows, i believe it was a monday night, and he came out to a song. It was either a cover, or part of 45:33, can't remember. But ya, you really have to check out his other work/see his live performances. I've seen him twice and have literally found myself weeping both times.
-
Ya, he broke the cricket boxes out for Monkey Chant. Are those real live crickets he uses?
