Here's a cool little interview with Nels.....he talks a little bit about the whole love. I love that his first band was called Homogenized Goo. http://kdhx.org/blog/2011/10/03/that-explosive-energy-a-release-an-interview-with-nels-cline-of-wilco/

my dad says it sounds too psychedelic.

I actually heard it on the radio this morning. The song isn't as intense as I was expecting but was still pretty cool. It sort of reminded me of Wilco (the song) but not quite as catchy and with some interesting bass/electric guitar moments. Also, there were some organ moments that reminded me of the doors.

Yeah, what else did they say!?

What's up with the lack of You are My Face on this tour? Did they ever play it? I feel like that song is one of their best live.

I think he's got a point. Maybe it's debatable whether he should have been standing or not, but the fact that some assholes threw something at him, rather than politely asking him to sit is beyond me.

I found some more cool studiopix. I think these are from the W(TA) era. Still cool though! http://www.fretboardjournal.com/gallery/wilco-photo-outtakes

I was browsing through the vimeo site and found this backstage footage of Wilco.....pretty cool to hear these songs in a different light. It was shot by Zoran Orlic, I think he takes a lot of the photos that are up on wilcoworld. http://vimeo.com/4438593 peeeeaaaace -
It would be cool to hear built to spill cover a Wilco song and vice versa( I once heard this would happen with modest mouse). Have you guys heard this....... http://www.myspace.com/527249283 It's Built to spill covering their own songs with synthesizers!

Found this funny little interview.... CHECK IT OUT!

In the live version of Late Greats, Nels does this really awesome jangly guitar thing during the second verse. I never really noticed how awesome it is until a few weeks ago. Hell is Chrome Solo The build at the end of the live version of sunken treasure- there's some wild noise coming from either Nels or Mike, tres cool!

"I thought I Held You." in Trader Joes

It Better be! They'll have to call up Kevin.... I wonder if The Office will make any Wilco reference in their show?

They should have a really unhealthy sandwich called, "I am Trying To Break Your Heart." Maybe a deep fried BLT.

Here's a clip with a short Tweedy interview, it also shows a little bit of their performance.

I think you're right about Jawbone -
At Least that's what you said! Pleeeeeaaaaaase

Built To Spill Elliott Smith they're not a whole lot like Wilco but damn fine!
-
I think it would be cool if Andrew Bird made some appearances on the next album. I would also be pretty satisfied if they brought Jim O'Rourke back on board like y'all were sayin'. Also, how many of you think Mike J should be more involved with songwriting? All of the osngs he's credited with are pretty awesome(side w/the seeds, theologians, hell is chrome)

Just caught this sweet video of Wilco and company covering Skip Spence. Glenn is pretty awesome in this, as is everybody else! http://pitchfork.com/news/37108-beck-wilco-feist-jamie-lidell-team-up-to-cover-skip-spences-album-ioari/ http://beck.com/record_club

This would be quite different from what they usually play, but I think it would be cool to hear Radio Cure War on War Jesus etc. Ashes of American Flags
