  1. That's where we're staying. See you there!
  2. Summer Noon is my favorite of the new songs at the moment.
  3. Yeah, those are the dates: http://solidsoundfestival.com/
  4. Rik was such a huge part of my teenage years. And beyond. The Young Ones, Comic Strip (especially Bad News), Filthy, Rich & Catflap, Bottom, The New Statesman... 56 years old. Way too young. What a shit day.
  5. I've just heard that Rik Mayall has died. This completely fucking sucks.
  6. I binge watched over the weekend. The last episode is fantastic.
  7. Gotta say, playing all new (and mostly very mellow) stuff for a festival crowd is a bold move. People seem to be digging it, though. I sure am.
  8. It's...different. I'm only one listen in, so it's too soon to really tell. As others have stated, I'm excited to hear the other 19.
  9. Obviously it's not quite Roadcase quality, but it's far superior to any audience recording.
  10. It was a webcast and I have a copy of it. It's an outstanding show. If anyone would like a copy, shoot me a PM. I'll upload it to DropBox within a day or so & send you a link.
  11. We're on different busses, pollution, but we're both using petrol........BOMBS!
  12. $373? Wow, that's disgusting.
  13. When Money Becomes King. What a great song, Tom. What's it about again?
  14. It sounds like he'll be splitting his sets between solo acoustic and full band. Should be interesting.
  15. Exactly. There's nothing like playing with different people to get the creative juices flowing. Jeff & the guys are smart enough to know that. Sure, it may be a while before we see a new Wilco record, but I'm willing to bet it'll be worth the wait. In the meantime, we have all the other projects to enjoy.
  16. How is it embarrassing? They're both incredible players, and every player has wanted to be someone else at some point. Just enjoy the music.
  17. That was a great week of shows for you! Chris Eldridge had lost his voice when I saw them, so it was all instrumental. He couldn't even talk between songs. Still a great performance. We'll definitely have to do a meet-up at Newport. One of us needs to get a thread going on that one...
  18. Very sorry to hear that, man. I hope everything works out for you.
