  1. Kudos to Pat. The production values on this are great. And it does sound great under headphones.
  2. Received email from FrontGate at 11:32 a.m. yesterday. Just assumed everyone did, until I started talking to friends.
  3. I received that as an email. What is strange is that of everyone I know who purchased tickets, I'm the only one who received the email.
  4. I'm hoping lots of people take advantage of the 12:15 advance pick up. I can't because my wife won't be able to get into town until after work, but I'm hoping this relieves some of the post-doors will call. Still think it will be a cluster f___, but maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised.
  5. Thanks for the link. I was on that page list night, but the chat was not showing on my iPad.
  6. How do you read the chat session? Is it on the same NPR page? I'm not seeing it.
  7. Any news released by the band? I just caught the end, to hear that NPR is broadcasting Sunday's show (I think that's what he said) and that they will be doing a Tiny Desk concert. Anything else I missed? Looks like 3 of us posted this news simultaneously!
  8. Been there, done that, and it's fun! Love this song.
  9. Right now I'm with a group of 8, so I made us a separate reservation at Jacob Wirth. I will look for the VC gang there (though I don't know who I'm looking for, I'm thinking it will be self evident).
  10. I definitely wont' give you "crap" for that, but the Boston "Evening With" show clocked in around 3 hours 15 minutes, and I could have stayed for another 3 hours!
  11. I don't think any of those songs should be skipped. For the couple of time a year I get to see Wilco live, I want to hear all of those, and so many others. What I would like to see happen is for Wilco to ditch having an opener, and for all shows to be "An Evening With." After 16 years, they've got the live repertoire to fill an evening. They should go the route of the Dead, Phish, Allmans, Furthur and drop having opening acts. Of course, easy for me to say. I know in the Ashes DVD they show what a physical toll the live shows put on Nels and Glenn, so maybe they can't physically do it, bu
  12. No recordings have popped up on bt.etree, but a couple of you tube videos have shown up, including this one: Mod edit
  13. Quick review of the show here: http://indianapolis.m.metromix.com/mobile/music/article/wilco-launches-tour-on/2818162/content
  14. For those of us who will be seeing Nick Lowe opening on this tour, and for anyone else generally interested in what Nick's up to these days, nice piece on him in today's NY Times: \ http://www.nytimes.com/2011/09/14/arts/music/nick-lowe-back-with-a-new-album-that-old-magic.html?_r=1&ref=music
  15. Encore break by 10:50, 16 songs played pre-encore.
