I love that chord change too. It is a great song.

I want to see "Sicko" by Michael Moore.

I'm in love with the new album but I think Being There is still the best time. I just listened to it on vacation the other day for the first time in a long time. Best Wilco album IMHO.

Yeah, I just got into them. I love BAGInA. I also downloaded separation sunday on iTunes right before I went on vacation but have not had time to listen to it.
-
I would have watched it but I could not find one channel with a live presentation of it.

Ha Ha! I'm not a real fan of the song though. 1. California Stars 2. Heavy Metal Drummer 3. I'm the Man That Loves You 4. What Light 5. Company In My Back

I see he is probably busy, this is just a crazy thought, but he should post a template a well-known format or something that we (people here) could fill out, send to him and his database could validate and then slurp up automatically. Then the admin of his page would boil down to asking for the file and loading it. I'm such a programmer nerd.

They just closed Jessup prison here in MD. It was a surprise move that was not announced until the day it happened. I think most of the prisoners were shuttled off to other states. So it sounds like there are some states in the business of buying inmates.

Some Day Some Morning Sometime. And oh, I'll have the chicken and my wife will have the fish. Congratulations!

How long was the set?

I just finally borrowed it from my buddy. If you're looking for some really cool Wilco material, I think you will be disappointed. They are in there but its definitely more about Woody Gutherie and Billy Bragg. -- Narrated by his daughter. I think the movie could have been better if it were a little longer and more detailed.

I like the 90's N.W.A/Eazy-E denim jacket. I have tickets for the 930 Club next month. I'm so excited!

Thanks. I already graduated from College 9 years ago. I'm already too old to know about this kind of stuff.

I signed up for this a long time ago when somebody mentioned it in the secret forum here. Just kidding. What the heck is a facebook?

Yeah, I wasn't implying that. The beat sounds very similar and the song even has the same feel. Also, just because Dosh wrote the song, doesn't mean he didn't write it on an acoustic and then Andrew simply wanted to arrange the song in the studio like Radiohead. Anybody who has spent any time in the studio has said or heard someone say, "I want this to sound just like the Beatles." Or, "I want this to sound like Pet Sounds."

Does anyone else think this is a complete tip of the hat to "Kid A"

I finally got around to getting tickets. I had a chance at 2 floor seats but someone called me here at work and I lost them so I started over. I got row z right center. Next to the mixing desk, so hopefully the sound will be good there. $101 for 2 tickets... I remember when I could see Wilco for $15 a ticket.

Has anyone noticed that no matter what cell phone you get these days the batteries don't last more than a day?

I got an email today from musictoday that said all prizes can be picked up at the basement of the Alamo.

He's definitely got a right pretty mouth.

What with the obsession with Gold and Roses? Thanks for the link though. I like the Dead.

I forgot my visa check card this morning... Music today only takes Visa/Master/Amex. Damn!

Same here. But if it make anybody feel any better I have no idea what Pat's contributions to this album are. But it's pretty obvious to me what Tweedy and Nels are doing. Probably because they have such distinct guitar styles. I have been (to borrow John's phrase) "over the moon" about Tweedy's guitar playing since AGIB.

Does Wilco still do a password for musictoday presales? I haven't got an email update from them in a loooong time and I have even tried re-signing up with my new email address. Any help would be appreciated.
