Ok. I'll play. I was late to the REM arriving for Monster tour in Ann Arbor which was fantastic. Went to Blossom in OH to see them & Wilco Summerteeth era and we were on the lawn. The sky opened up raining cats and dogs for the It's the End of the World encore which I still vividly remember 22 years later. Made a Wilcation out of the 2003 shows where Wilco opened for REM in Vancouver and Seattle and wow were those great shows for both bands. Subpar United Center show in '08 with National & Modest Mouse

Yesterday, looking for an pandemic activity, 3 Wilco fans and I drafted and created a 10 song album of Wilco (+Mermaid) originals. Your vote matters. Who did it best? Also, what song would be your first pick? Why did anyone give this thing a good review? 3-4 decent songs, but....

Any reviews of last night's Tweedy fam stream? I caught a solid performance of Solitaire with Susie's commentary layered on top. -

I might check out the Bela Fleck stream tonight. Whitney is doing one tomorrow that should be good. -
The livestreams have been cool. Jambase just started a calendar. https://www.jambase.com/livestreams

High Water Fest is cancelled and I bet the other SE gigs aren't far behind given CDC's guidance of no events over 50 people for 8 weeks

It's not postponed. https://lutherburbankcenter.org/healthandsafetyupdate/

Maybe Wilco should play the shows without the fans and live stream so we can all couch tour?
-
GA tickets secured with no issue!

Why do we think they gave the S-K tour a name ('It's Time')? Is it a throw back to last summer's popular 'Now's the Time' tour by Gin Blossoms & Collective Soul?
-
Yes! There is one. There pw info is really easy to find on Wilco's tour page and in the text of the youtube video posted above.

Nice! Glad they are at least getting this leg going. Hope they make it Vegas where I'm catching them

"one recently unearthed (but never released) cover of “Casino Queen” by Billy Gibbons featuring Jeff Tweedy himself on guitar." nice!

It doesn't look like shows are currently being postponed, but the situation won't likely get better there any time soon. Amazon & Microsoft have told told all employees to work from home. Schools in a district N of Seattle are closed for up to two weeks. Hopefully it all works out, Wilco and YFF play amazing shows and everyone stays healthy.

Have to imagine these shows might get postponed

It was so great. Chris was 'on' and the setlist was the right mix of classics and solid deep cuts. The highlight for me was the Eddie Harsch story and the ensuing performance of Descending.

Brothers of a Feather (Chris and Rich Robinson)

Two? What do you know that we don't? I suspect they either held onto this to make an announcement that would prompt sales at other gigs, OR had to sell out the Oakland shows before announcing, OR had an open day reserved for media appearances that didn't come through and booked it up. Either way, hell of a venue. Is it the venue they've played the most gigs at? Probably either that or Riviera in Chicago?
-
Picked up tickets to see Chris and Rich perform at Lincoln Hall in a few weeks. Going to be interested to see what the song selection is like for the show. I'm hoping it veers off of Shake Your Money Maker liberally. They couldn't have picked a better Chicago venue.

$200 is for two tickets, right? I'm seeing $77 + fees as the ticket price. I too wish the market was not at this level (at either $100 or $200!)

New date in Minnesota in September at a 16,000 seat amphitheater at a casino. The beginning of a fall tour? Casino circuit?
