Wow! Great for Scott. That description is certainly interesting.

Nels has a show on the 13th in Tallahassee

Wait - this is RSD Exclusive and limited to 5000 copies. Yikes - likely very hard to come by. Hopefully it will stream.

Interesting setlist! Looks great to me. I know Jeff has said that Wilco/he can play anything from any era since they don't have a hit, but he/they seem to shy away from the recent material. Lots of songs from Warm here, but nothing from 2009 to 2018 - No Whole Long, Schmiclo, Star Wars, Mavis or 'Tweedy' songs in the set. Of course, only one show... -
And Big City Tap

Typically these shows have no openers. Looks to be the case again this year. On food, Sheffields & Fish Bar are good. Lots of good food in Chicago - always tricky handling though before a Vic show given GA nature.

Worth writing/reading, but a stretch (agree with you). The author's take on Nobody Girl is not mine - I always thought the narrator was the Nobody Girl's internal monologue anyway...

On guests with Wilco, it would be great to see Courtney join on a Ghost song since she's said that is one of her favorite/influential albums. And...Scott has to join Jeff for Let's Go Rain.
-
Oh! Right right. I think I knew that in the back of my head - he mentioned them at his last Chicago show...

The Solid Sound Instagram Story has a pic of Andy Shauf...who isn't listed elsewhere. Mistake?

Looks like a great bill to me! I'm assuming we'll start ranking the SS lineups? I'd put this at the top.

That would be interesting. Besides solo projects, I don't think they've had return performances, right? Mavis and PQ would be the first. They are both great and I would be in favor...

My uneducated guesses: Courtney Barnett Death Cab for Cutie Ohmme Jenny Lewis The Nude Party Jen Cloher Phosphorescent Hop Along Sunflower Bean

As long as we're doing jokes about this seriousness...he covers full albums, maybe there is an opportunity to do 'At Folsom Prison' or "Live in Cook County Jail'

Yes. I was on the ramp with my height challenged wife. Saw you closer to stage/Max during JT but then couldn't find you between sets - do you move??? I had mentioned to the wife ahead of the show about Max's connection to Jeff and the fact that most of the songs he performs are about death so it was amusing when both those things came up. It was a fun night - two live debuts by Jeff is more than one could ask for. Has Jeff ever worn his own merch during a show before? Is that cool?

I wonder if they can't announce USA dates until after Jeff's solo tour - a lot of times promoters want people to buy tickets for the current show vs buying tickets for the next show. Jeff is hitting a lot of markets March/April. July looks open on their schedule, but Nels has a couple shows booked in August. Maybe USA is winter tour? Those are better venues imo anyway...

Only outcry from me is the non-European date format! Ha

Chicago Theater shows were close to $100. I think rempish is on to something.

Any guess on average ticket price for the upcoming Wilco US tour? Seems like Jeff is charging about the same as Wilco was on their last tour for his solo shows (which are in smaller venues). Does that mean we are close to $80/$90 for tickets this tour? I'm hoping to score tickets for the Beck/Cage/Spoon tour and was surprised by the $120 cost for many of the seats...
