  3. a tweet about the situation would be nice...
  4. Yes, it is in the "A Wilco Related Show" thread. I couldn't find anything on VIP so I bought a regular ticket.
  5. Quindar October 17th playing Goodland Hotel in Goleta, CA for free
  6. this list is really cool. Interesting that all the best versions are all pre-2009. On the Shake it Off "woo!", it originated at the show in Indianapolis on June 17 (two days before the one you quote). I just re-listened on sooutoftune.org now... "well Indianapolis, you invented that...whatever it is...I don't like it." I forgot about the macrame incident at the Indy show too! They had the macrame owl fly down from the rafters (on wires of course). It was so fun. I'm lucky to have caught that one.
  7. Me too. Kicking TV has one of the best versions of the transition to my ears too.
  8. Glenn plays with So Percussion in New York at Zankel Hall on Feb 12th
  9. Magnetized & Random Name Generator as far as deep cuts. Hoping More... & Cold Slope continue to be regulars.
  10. Jeff Tweedy @ Park West November 20th. Tickets are $125 and on sale Saturday (Oct 3)
  11. AC/DC and Vintage Trouble at Dodger Stadium.
  12. The Bad Plus covered Radio Cure Building off Bbop above, Bob Seger covered California Stars on his last album. Is he the only Rock N' Roll Hall of Famer to cover Wilco? as far as live versions, this is one way to look at it: http://www.setlist.fm/stats/covered/wilco-23d6982b.html Some cool artists on there that I had no idea played Wilco every now and then! Bleachers/Yo La Tengo doing Jesus, Grace Potter doing Muzzle, Widespread Panic doing Outta Mind, Lucius doing Dawned on Me.
  13. Tweedy @ Bluesfest in Australia. Fest occurs March 24 - 28.
  14. Glenn Kotche dates in Netherlands. He's co-curating the Cross-Linx Festival and headlining along with Andrew Bird & Neil Finn. Pretty cool. Cross-linx is a varied evening full of unexpected connections between composed 'new' music and artists of the avant-garde pop scene. The festival is not just figuratively off the beaten track, but also presents a musical adventure in unexpected places within the concert hall. "Kotche is an icon in the indie music scene," said Cross-linx director Frank Veenstra: "I am very pleased that we build together the program and especially the fact that he is a
  15. I was just thinking that they needed to add Face back to the rotation! So great in the live setting.
  16. Taylor Swift version is superior. Sad that this album is going to get Ryan more attention than most other albums in his career.
  17. Recent San Fran and Seattle shows now available.
  18. Yes indeed. Got lucky with the golden ticket for sure. My musician friend is buddies with Rami Jaffe. He's usually in LA but was visiting and was able to work some friendship magic. I'm a lucky dude.
  19. Didn't have a chance to post because at 3:30 I was offered free ticket and backstage pass (Club Rami) to Foo Fighers @ Wrigley. It was an amazing rock n' roll experience to be on the stage for the show. Also nice to get free drinks provided by the Foos.
  20. Rebels and Don't Come Around Here No More I assume. I agree that is the consensus. I'm not a fan of either. DCAHNM's drums bug me to no end. I actually left a Petty show at Summerfest because of this one. I regret doing that - was just not feeling the show and then the terrible drum beat kicked in. That was the tour when the Crowes opened. Summerfest in Milwaukee
