Wilco — 7/14/15, Morrison, CO (Red Rocks Amphitheatre)
nalafej replied to bböp's topic in After The Show
Finally time to chime in. 60th Wilco show. 1st Red Ricks experience. I thought it was a fantastic night! Steve gunn was a great opener. The venue is a gem and must do for all music fans. Wilco played great. I agree with the comments that they didn't really go beyond a typical performance but they are great even on nights where they don't over achieve. I don't understand how people can have issues with a setlist containing obscure tracks like Panthers, Camera, New Madrid and Hesitating Beauty and the best of Wilco. That is the entire point of a 20th anniversary tour supporting the boxe -
Wilco' set will be streaming on YouTube (along with other artists)!

I would say no chance. Would be cool if they did stuff like that though.

Any reports from last night? Eddie Vedder headlined. Saw a tweeted pic of John singing background along with many of the other musicians. Curious what the night was like.

I heard a bunch of songs on someone's shuffle. That band stood out as something different, and again, it was a bit of a life-changing musical moment for me. "'Handshake Drugs'

Watch Members Of Wilco Join Wire On “Pink Flag”
nalafej replied to Albert Tatlock's topic in Just A Fan
Sam Tweedy was up there, but yeah, I don't think any members of the band were. -
I'm interested in 1 i it is for Sandpoint.

Wire + St Vincent is only playing one song. I'm hoping Wire plays a few more on their own. Seems like a waste to set up gear for one song, right?
