Totally agree. It's normal to ask for a 2 night stay on weekends in season and even a 3 night stay on holiday weekends but a 4 night stay is really stretching it.

In happier news, they may be naming a road in Woodstock for Levon. http://www.recordonline.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20130222/NEWS/130229915 I drive that road often and couldn't be happier about it. I hope it goes through.

I know I'm late on this but having just heard this: I'm now going back and checking out Here's to Taking It Easy & Pride and am getting hooked on it. I'm kicking myself that I didn't go see them when they played my town a couple years ago.

Last year that had Lagunitas. The food has been really good. The first year I loved the Banh Mi but they weren't there the second time. There is a Samosa guy, there was a guy with a fried oyster and crawfish truck, plenty of vegetarian options, greek food, etc. Generally good eats. Oh and GREAT coffee and the best for me were the Bloody Marys in the morning!

Also getting out of Albany airport is a breeze. The same cannot be said for getting out of NYC on a Friday in summer.

Things didn't start until 5-ish or so on Friday for the past two SS's. I agree about flying into Albany. The drive is very nice over the mountains.

There's a 6/23 show at Saratoga Performing Arts Center which is Sunday night after Solid Sound wraps up. It's about a 90 minute drive from MASS MoCA and a nice summer venue. So tempting. First place I ever saw Petty play too.
