  1. I did, but it took a solid half hour and a friend on another computer to do so. I got logged out a few times, too.
  2. I usually prefer second weekend as well, but I'll have to break with tradition.
  3. It's looks like this May be sold out now. I just tried to impulse buy a ticket and it said "tickets no longer offered for this event." Probably for my own good anyway...
  4. Here you go, Diane! http://popwatch.ew.com/2014/12/19/colbert-report-finale-guests/
  5. Even without any night shows or sit ins Wilco at Jazzfest is better than no Wilco at all. I love that festival. Greatest diversity of acts of any festival and the early finish gives you so many opportunities to see so much at night as well. Whatever they decide works for me. If they don't play in NOLA I'll try to catch them somewhere else (and still go to Jazzfest ).
  6. The Howlin' Wolf is my favorite! That would be my dream venue for them. I agree. Seeing your favorite band at a festival is never that satisfying, but in New Orleans there is a lot of potential for either a night show or band members sitting in with various acts. If they play, I hope it's on the Gentilly Stage. Less distance between the stage and the crowd and a smaller VIP area. I haven't been to the Mahalia Jackson Theater but would love to check it out.
  7. It's pretty rare that anybody plays both weekends. Even local fixtures like Allan Toussaint and Irma Thomas play only one weekend...but I'm game if they are :-)
  8. If this does get confirmed this gig would put them in a perfect position geographically to play Jazzfest in New Orleans. Since I'm planning to go to that anyway I would love to see Wilco there, too. Lots if opportunities for sit ins given John and Pat's history down there.
  9. Sonny Feeling was playing in my bank the other day
  10. I need 2 for Fri 2/12. Please email me at sandymelloy@gmail.com if you have any extras. Thanks!
  11. It wasn't marathon length for them. They played about 2 1/2 hours. They have 3 nights at The Fillmore so plenty of time to "get it right." Great show! They really gave it their all. Just to give you a glimpse into life in The Bay Area, tonight DBT, Chris Robinson Brotherhood and Lucero are all playing at different venues. There are no bad choices to be made. All great options.
  12. Drive By Truckers and Sturgill Simpson at The Fillmore. They were taping the show for a live album.
  13. Plus they're promoting a rarities collection so we're hearing some deep cuts. You are so right. This is a great time to be a fan!
  14. What a fun night!!! Definitely my peak Wilco experience. So great hanging out with all of you. Still in a little bit of disbelief that the night happened the way it did. Credit for Robert's must be shared with Deb, who had mentioned that she heard it was a good place earlier in the day :-)
  15. I think the reason you weren't getting updates to the set list during the show is because we were actually watching and enjoying the show rather than updating VC, Twitter, Facebook etc. I think that actually says a lot of good things about the Wilco fan base. We actually respect them enough to pay attention to what they're playing while we're at the show rather than focusing on a message board. You get the set list and lots of other information afterwards.
  16. For those of you in Nashville who wanted a poster and couldn't get one last night there are some available at the Hatch Print shop. Just bought one :-)
  17. I'd hate to see these go to waste. Make an offer, even an 'I have no money but really want to go' offer.
  18. We have section 3, Row BB, seats 3&4. We're really close to you guys.
  19. Great idea, Sarah! I'm second row first night and sixth row night 2. Section MF-3 both nights.
  20. Great photos, Kidsmoke! I love the one of Jeff smiling. He seemed so happy that day. So were we :-)
  21. These are still available if anybody is looking.
  22. When You Wake Up Feeling Old played at The Arrow Stage at Hardly Strictly Bluegrass before Hurray For The Riff Raff's set.
