  1. Steve if Laura doesn't take them I'd like them.
  2. I spent a weekend in a beautiful place surrounded by friends listening to great music and enjoying beautiful and thought-provoking works of art. As far as I'm concerned, everything else is irrelevant. I don't care who clapped, smoked, drank, farted, why we didn't get a second encore, how long the food lines were, etc. I'm just grateful I got to experience it and look forward to 2017.
  3. The techs started breaking down the equipment almost immediately after the band left the stage. That makes me think the decision to scrap the second encore had already been made before they exited the stage after the first encore.
  4. That's just awful! I can't believe somebody spoke to you like that! I guess the only thing I can say is that you encountered her for a few seconds, but she has live in that ugliness 24/7. She has it worse than you do.
  5. I was wondering the same thing. I went to the Vimeo site and it looks like it's $12.99 to stream and download. I'm not sure if you can stream without purchasing and skip the download portion. I'm going to buy it either way.
  6. Looks like we finally have a release date! According to an email from HQ it's June 18th on Vimeo.
  7. I'll be there, too! Flying in tomorrow evening.
  8. This is my first Solid Sound. I think I'll play it safe and wear my deer costume ;-)
  9. So I shouldn't wear my bear costume to Solid Sound?
  10. Too Far Apart was played during the second (hootenanny) encore. The first encore was Kingpin and I'm A Wheel. Everything from Shot In The Arm forward is second encore. Really great crowd sing-along tonight. You can tell this town loves Wilco. And it was Camera. Have they played Kamera since Winterlude?
  11. This one seems pretty reasonable to me. The two day pass costs only a bit more than a single day Outside Lands ticket.
  12. Do you still have this ticket? I have that night off and i'm thinking of going.
  13. The audience mikes were set up so there is a chance at a Roadcase release.
  14. Nice article Diane! It really captures the perched on the precipice energy of being out there in those conditions. There was such a focused intensity to their performance that I couldn't be disappointed even though it was cut short. Unfortunately, I didn't hear about this until after the fact. Would love to have been there.
  15. It was great meeting you! They really made the best of the time they had and played their hearts out. Hopefully NOLA gets their own full show someday soon.
  16. I'll be there! I'm going to Jazzfest with a Wilco-neutral group of people and would love to meet up.
  17. I'm not sure what is familiar territory in the Tweedy household, but I thought I detected a slight wince from Spencer.
  18. Our bbop was not in attendance last night. I will do my best to fill in some info, but I suggest you lower your expectations right now ;-) Here is the setlist taken from wilcoworld: 01 - Down From Above02 - Fake Fur Coat03 - Diamond Light Pt. 104 - Flowering05 - Summer Noon06 - World Away07 - New Moon08 - Pigeons09 - Slow Love10 - Wait For Love11 - High As Hello12 - Love Like a Wire (Diane Izzo cover)13 - Nobody Dies Anymore14 - Low Key15 - Spiders (Kidsmoke)16 - I Am Trying to Break Your Heart17 - Hummingbird18 - You And I19 - We've Been Had20 - Forget the Flowers21 - Radio King (Golden
  19. I'm at SFO this morning traveling to Chicago for the Tweedy shows and Sky Blue Sky was playing in the ladies room.
  20. The Replacements just announced a tour today. It looks promising for their inclusion at SSF4.
  21. I took a tour of the venue before the Wilco show in 2012 and the tour guide said it's up to the artist to determine what the seating set up is for the show. I think most have it set up with GA at the front and back with reserved seating in between, but it's not guaranteed. Unfortunately, the AXS website doesn't have a seating chart. There is an AXS presale tomorrow. Does anybody have the code?
  22. The solo shows at The Fillmore sold out in about half an hour last time. Tweedy played in SF in Oct at Hardly Strictly Bluegrass. Maybe people feel like they got their fix then?
  23. That's right. Festival ends at 7pm every day. There are usually shows in the venues around town every night that start at 9 or later, so you can actually attend the festival AND the night shows. It's a great set up.
  24. I think Pittsfield, MA has hotels and it's closer than Springfield.
